Recently I rolled up a couple of D&D 5E characters with someone (I can’t say names because I don’t want to be slapped in the face with the Ninjas’ CoC) who is excited to play some D&D for the first time in a couple of decades! I’m excited to DM a campaign for my first time too! I’ve been fleshing our a story line for a bit over a year and am excited to start working on the map and city, town and topology of the entire continent, then dividing that into 4 subsections. I’ve also been working on a crafting system that will work with the D&D mechanics and hoping some of the players will play test that with me! But the first player (y’all would recognize) and I got together at a big table top store in Plano, TX and created some of his undead brain children.....both of which will be fun to see in action, both for different reasons. Some backstory is still going to need to happen for one of the characters, but we’ve got two melee focused combatants! A Barbarian Mountain Dwarf and a Monk Goliath! In my humble opinion, one is going to be difficult to role play and the other is going to (at least for a bit) be difficult to play from a battle mechanics perspective..... Either way, [b][i][u]SUPER[/u][/i][/b] excited to have met the Prophet for Bernthal the Great in the undead flesh and am excited to glimpse into the beginnings of the formation of the party that I get to TPK.....I mean role play with! * fades out with maniacal DM laughter
