Can we just play all tiers of the Reckoning without Gambit?
Why is this so convoluted? I just want to play the tiers when I’m high enough level and get the lore cards. That’s it. I’m not interested in Gambit or this convoluted gameplay loop. I’m not going to use the armor anyway. I just want a new PvE activity and I don’t want to be locked out of portions of it because of this.
Sure, The Reckoning is PvE but this loop does actually make this season all about Gambit despite what we’ve been told. Every time I think a new thing doesn’t have some negative aspect to it, I find one anyway.
Why can’t there be an alternative thing that we can do in tier 1 to access tier 2 and then again in tier 2 to access tier 3? Why can’t we have options to progress that let us maximize our enjoyment of the game?

Yeah, I don't really like how so many of the things that aren't specifically gambit, still require playing gambit to unlock. Shoot, this season hasn't really even existed for me because it requires playing gambit prime to do anything else right off the bat. Nope. Not doing it. It's not about the rewards, I don't really care as I have plenty of good weapons and armor already(except for those new titan gauntlets I want to try out.) It's about the gameplay experience up to those rewards. Gambit, or anything else involving the inevitability of getting attacked by other players, isn't worth it by virtue of gameplay alone. I just do not like it.
