Content creators and streamers represent a minority. You guys just want to have these people streaming your game for free advertisement. How long did they continue making content on YouTube and twitch after the summit? Honestly I feel they streamed the game for little while after the summit, for a little while after forsaken dropped and then no one streaming it again. That's not gonna bring people to your game, listen to the people on the forums and people will come. Hell you might actually get friends of these people back that are still in the game by word-of-mouth. Quite honestly people going sweaty mode on a 1st person shooters is not fun to watch. I would prefer watching friends doing strikes, nightfalls, or playing private matches just having fun razzing each other. Bring that back, not a bunch oh people showing off how good they are stroking their ego and bragging.
Fix the game for the people that have been there for the long haul that are actually intrested in content (Destiny 1 and preorder of Destiny 2). You guys need to focus on the PVE community just as much as the streamers and content creators which typically end up being in the PVP and end game community. People are intrested in the story and lore the you guys have created not just running around doing crucible.
Do you really think your last summit made massive improvements to your game? Your annual pass is a huge failure. Yeah forsaken was really nice, but you guys did an awesome thing with taken king and rise of iron in destiny one without a summit. So I do not contribute the success of forsaken to your summit.
If you guys wanna fix your game pay attention to the forums, that's what they're here for. You have a lot of loyal people still on here voicing their opinions, the majority use the forums.
I know I made this one kind along, but that's because I really loved destiny. I was geeked for it the moment I heard about it. What I would recommend to you guys (and I know my opinion doesn't matter) is, look at the people that are not logging on so frequently or recently quit. You don't necessarily need to invite them to a summit but reach out to them. Ask them why they either stopped playing or why they're playing less. Do an online chat with them. Reach out to the community not just the big names. You have so many people that want to see destiny do well, let them help you but you have to reach out to them 1st. Please do this for the loyal destiny players
