Yea right like Bungie cares about anybody else besides people that stream their game. They put you and cozmo out here just to try to appease some people.

Think first before speaking. Would you rather want that Bungie listens to some who: A. Spend alot of time into the game, knowing the mechanics, the gameplay, endgame and more OR B. Completely new players which haven't reached the endgame yet or players which stopped playing and didn't even looked onto new content by themself before complaining... Which one you would you prefer? Experience or lazyness Edit: For all those not realizing it: the average player counts to A. The difference here is that bungie can't invite thousands of people to their studio just for feedback on a summit. And since the forums here are so toxic the second bungie says anything it is no wonder that they choose streamers since they can behave themself in front of others. I see so many toxic posts and comments here that if this forum would be ever pictured it would be a mob with "fuck off, bungie" and "kill yourself" shields trying to linch bungie employees. That's not how you get feedback to developers. Remember, those workers are STILL HUMAN and STILL have emotions. If I would be cozmo or dmg I would also avoid the forums when people insult me or shout me toxic answer in my virtual face. So, asking streamers, which are favoured by people (because they have sympathy for the streamers or agree with their point of view) is only one of the first logical steps to keep feedback clear in such a mess of communication between developer and toxic community.

  • Your A/B is scenario is an absurd one at best. Those who land in the B category wouldn't even care to attend a summit. All the "casual" players people think "ruined" the game don't even know this forum exists. That's what makes them casual. You literally just made up a group of people that don't exist and call them lazy just to have someone to blame. It's a convenient scapegoat for Bungie and the hardcore fans to pretend like it isn't Bungie's fault for not knowing how to appeal to the wider audience which is the midcore player base. The midcore player base are the ones here who are upset and would contribute a lot to a summit if that was what Bungie was actually after. So my answer to your question would be C. The midcore player base who have spent a lot of time in the game, know the mechanics, the gameplay and the end game but think it can be improved to not require you to spend thousands of hours to get endgame enjoyment. • Streamers get paid to play the game. They only care what they themselves want, or what would get them prime content to get ad revenue off of. Any opinions from them are tainted by greed, mate. Anyone else actually cares about enjoying the game and having *gasp* FUN. But apparently that's a foreign concept these days.

  • Talia, when Curse dropped and population went through the floor, almost EVERY streamer completely abandoned Destiny AND Bungie. They went to Fortnite and CoD Blackout, RDR2, etc... Faith in humans is earned, not just demanded and granted. I trust everybody, I just don’t trust the devil that sits on everybody’s shoulder. I agree with Immortal. Can’t back you up on this.

  • Why should I? Last time they had a summit, the mess that was Warmind was the result? And how much of that content was such an overly convoluted mess that you HAD to look it up on YT? Quite a fricking lot if you didn't have hours to waste figuring it out for no good reason. Veey few of them have ever had much good to say that would make the game more fun. Most only care about what makes the game play for longer, which I don't much care for. Unlike them, I like to be done with a game at some point.

  • From both D2 season pass dlc's was Warmind the more loved one. Yeah, maybe it was unfair at the beginning for some people but you know what? Online gaames don't live only from accessibility. They also live from replayability and endgame. And the endgame in Warmind was better than CoO and D2Y1.

  • Replayability and fun are not mutually exclusive, mate. You can make a replayable experience without mucking it up with nonsense. Bungie just doesn't seem to know how. And so what if it was slightly better than CoO? Slightly better crap is still crap.

  • And then came forsaken. And people had fun *ooofff* And then came black armory and people had things to do *ooofff2* And now we have Season fo the drifter alias The jokers wildcard... And you know what? People had fun *ooofff3* Yeah, not everyone likes every content (alot of people dislike pvp, gambit and the raids) but you can't make everyone happy. That's like trying to get North Korea, USA, Russia and Turkey on one table, hugging aand kissing each other. It is almost impossible.

  •
And then came forsaken. And people had fun *ooofff*
I had so little fun that I quit playing after a couple of weeks having been a daily player for years. For the same reasons a lot of other people have cited here - tedious, protracted, monotonous gameplay set up so that the Leaders of the Core Community didn't get Mad Online again. Can't speak for the rest of the annual pass for obvious reasons ... even though I paid for it. Last cent Bungie will be getting from me unless and until they show clearly that they're serious about making their game a fun experience again.

  • Like I said: Not everyone can be served. Let us take a different game: Forza Horizon for example. I heared it is a good racing game. But for me personally I see no fun in racing around alone or with others (except if it is mario cart). But alot of people have fun with it. In Destiny 2 I'm not happy with everything they do, but I have fun at some points. Even in gambit prime (except when I die because I can't see shit on the screen from distance)

  • I don't think you understand. I wouldn't have minded some changes, but for me they basically took all the fun out of the game in the post-Forsaken era. All of it. You can see I'm far from alone in that opinion. I haven't logged in since September, having played and enjoyed more or less daily since mid-D1. I'm not a "casual" (whatever that means), but I'm not a nolife Hardcore Skillz Guy either. If players like me aren't around to subsidise Y3 - which I personally won't be unless things change radically - the game has no future.

Maybe it will, although I have severe doubts personally. But certainly if they're going to double down on this focus on the Core Community as they put it themselves (aka streamers), it's inevitably going to turn into a much lower budget niche thing rather than the full on AAA extravaganza that people are used to - it needs accessibility and a fun factor in order to bring in sales, and given that they've Forsaken (narf) this in year 2 and show no sign of changing course I'm guessing D3 will end up being a much more bare bones affair pitched strictly for the most desperate dopamine junkies. If - and that's a big if - it ever happens.

  • That was a result of Bungie's own thought process, not primarily following the opinions of streamers, nitwit. Forsaken was the answer to complaints about CoO and Warmind when they realized people -blam!-ing hated them. Try again.

  •
And the endgame in Warmind was better than CoO and D2Y1.
Absolutely spot on true. But that’s like saying I am immensely wealthy bc I found a normal average beat up penny in the parking lot. Yes, I’m financially better off than before, but that’s not saying a lot bc before I was drop dead broke! lol

  • That was very shallow defense you just posted up. There are more than merely Two options. You paint it as though it is simply black and white. Stupid. Just really stupid. You assume that normal players are inexperienced just because they do not spend hours upon hours everyday playing games. Stupid. You assume streamers are the best choice to speak for the entire community. Stupid. How about you shut up and stop while you can

  •
Spend alot of time into the game, knowing the mechanics, the gameplay, endgame and more
You just described a lot of people on this forum. The big difference between these players and Streamers is that these players play Destiny for fun and Streamers play Destiny for a living. I'll take the people who play this game for fun all day every day, with no other motivation beyond wanting to enjoy their time.

  • Wouldn't it be healthy to get players who stopped playing there to explain why they left and what it would take to get them back? That's literally 96% of registered accounts.

They just prefer to hang out with their streamer friends no matter what it means for the game.
