But with them only listening to the streaming community DMG what use is your efforts ?
Don’t you guys get sick of them not listening to you either ? Coz if I had an employer that didn’t listen to me, I would leave my job !!
Also mate I’m sorry but this is purely lip service nothing more.
The community needs to see action, your employers are clueless and frankly not worth your time or ours !
Clearly listening to the streaming community did nothing for this game before, don’t you think they should try a different approach at this point ?
Or are Bungie simply a glutton for punishment ?!
This community is screaming at them with ways to make this game better, don’t listen to Reddit they have no idea what they want over there, this forum is rich with ideas get them to visit their own forums !!
Clearly listening to the streaming community did nothing for this game before, don’t you think they should try a different approach at this point ?
Forsaken has been amazing based on the feedback from the last event and saved this game. I would disagree with you there.
this forum is rich with ideas get them to visit their own forums !!
I really hope they don't do this either. That's what led to D2 year 1. The only thing this forum is rich with is crybabies. I don't count you in that group though. You have demonstrated the ability to express your ideas like an adult.

I've been around since mid-D1 and I've never seen so many committed players getting burned out and quitting based on what Forsaken did to progression, infusion costs, matchmaking, etc. Having more content is great for sure, but tbh if Y1 had launched with the same amount or CoO had come in with a similar sized drop I doubt there would have been the same kind of negativity - with Forsaken the content came at the price of a bunch of changes purely aimed at the 39 hour week crowd, and while the extra content papered over the cracks for a while, now that we're six months in chickens are coming home to roost. There were always plenty of complaints, but have you noticed how many people are saying the game is “tedious" these days? Btw, if it "saved the game", how come player populations are on trend to be basically no better than Y1 and in the case of Crucible are even worse .... but Pandering To Casuals In Year One Nearly Killed The Franchise™, that's what I got told.

I've been around since day 1. No other time besides maybe year 1 has had this much content. Year 2 saw one of the best raids of all time, the shattered throne, guardians become stronger and faster, a new game mode, and so far a good raid lair. There are things that could be improved upon such as infusion. D1 year 2 and 3 had significant content droughts and saw a significant greater exodus than going on right now. D1 year 1 was the closest this franchise was to being dead. D2 Y2 has been a measurable success for a franchise that's going to be 5 years old.
D2 Y2 has been a measurable success for a franchise that's going to be 5 years old.
Populations are no better than they were at equivalent points of Y1 (actually significantly worse for Crucible). And tracking the same downward trajectory. So, no it hasn’t been, unless you also count Y1 as a “measurable success”. The problem with Y1 was the lack of content, the problems with Y2 are that they’ve broken a whole bunch of basic systems - progression, infusion, matchmaking - seemingly at the behest of “Community Leaders” who cried for everything to be tilted in their favour.
