Destiny 1 had a kind of sad forlorn feel. It had mysteries that made me wonder, places I wanted to explore, and the feeling that I might find something new during everything I did. I enjoyed exploring and I’d truly spend a lot of time just doing patrols and random activities because of it. I truly felt like I was a last defense of humanity; someone brought back whose purpose was to bring humanity back from the brink. I loved that feeling. D2 has a more kid feel and it hasn’t captured me that same way at all. Honestly D1 was so good for me, that it’s the main reason I’ve stuck with D2. It was strong enough that I will patiently wait to see what D3 brings and enjoy D2 as much as possible until then. I like what you made here. I hope your vision of Destiny somehow aligns with my own. Good luck at the summit.
