How about you live stream the summit so the average joes can input their ideas as well.

They show off stuff in development at Summits that's why. Even the streamers get NDA'd about the new stuff.

That's not good...several developers host constant devstreams to show off what they have and take feedback. It looks more like a dev team (Bungie) hiding everything and not confident with either themselves or the community the game fostered. It's also why every content drop of late is shrouded in mystery and varies so often in how it's received. Apart from Forsaken D2 has had a lot of polarizing content. For player retention and the games lifespan...well, I think the statistics prove how Bungies approach is working out.
