Can we update the enhancement core complaints to never show in trending, I'm trying to find innovation and good feedback to build onto, but I cant see anything but whining about a system that most frequent players would say is a non issue compared to other more pressing matters.

Good luck with this community.

To put it simply, enhancement cores are a resource, the only one that has heavy RNG tied to it, that shouldn't be happening and it shouldn't be limited like it is with the spider.

I got 15 cores doing only 3 hours of strikes. I had 4 scrapper vanguards. 2 matterweaves. The rest were from purple drops and the purple vuvuzela token rewards.

None of the planetary materials also necessary to infuse, legendary shards are easier to get since legendary gear drops all over the place but what are the odds of getting a piece that will give you a core or matterweave? Think about it from a newer players perspective as well. How do you even start at this point? The system can always be improved, the entire game doesn't have to be a super hardcore experience down to the infusion.

I'm a frequent player and I see an issue. Everything takes too many cores to masterwork and you've got the cost of infusion on top of that. Then, you've got the fact that the most reliable way to get cores is in the tangled shore, why not have that resource set to the tower instead, you know somewhere we're always visiting rather than out of the way and easy to forget once you don't need spiders weekly bounties.
-
That isnt the most reliable... Do 2 hours of stikes, Infuse all your shit and shut the hell up. Strikes are literally a core mine. Purple and exotic drops, avg about 1 per strike, mixed with about 2-3 blues, which can give you scrappers, and then the tokens...so many cores. I got 15 cores YESTERDAY playing strikes for maybe a total of 3 hours.
-
Oh and you got 15 cores in a session? How lucky. I got about 15 in the entire dawning event while my clan we're getting 15 a day from baking cookies and we all baked around the same amount. I got about 30 cores in one day during the crimson days and the same people with the great RNG from the dawning got 0 from the entire event. But you know, the system is fine and all that because there's a way to potentially farm for a resource that's got a small chance to drop. How bout we add another resource requirement for infusion and masterworking that you can only get for bright dust and silver? It would be fine cause you can just farm bright dust easy, duh.

I guess but then people could just buy it and there would be a pay to infuse market basically undermining the entire destiny economy and destroying what little faith is left....but I get your point. If they added another way to get cores, it wouldnt change anything. People would bitch about not liking that activity, it's seriously starting to take over the forum.. Half the people piping up arent even aware of the ways to get cores, and have resources for days, Some people didnt even know their 31 matterweaves are basically cores. The problem with spider bounties is the fact that you have to grind to unlock the grind to finish the upgrade grind. Too many steps. If you had to log on each Tuesday go to spider. Buy the bounties for glimmer. And go to a 3 minute lost sector run, even double up on planets...do all the ones on nessus at the same time etc. Then you've got a weekly bump of 10 or so cores for about 1 hour of work. Then you've got the gear to break down for a chance at more, and any scrappers you get along the way remember to do those lost sectors at the same time when can. There are plenty of cores to be had for minimal effort...if you took the ghost fragments out of the picture.

I understand what you're saying, there are more complaints every week. I'm glad you understand where I'm coming from at least as well. It can't be easy to balance this sort of thing as it is, I know it won't change in D2, I'm hoping by give can get this crap sorted in D3 and have a system that works for casuals and hardcore players alike or at the very least find a way to have things a bit closer together if ya get what I mean.

I have enough cores, I'm not complaining about not having enough, but I can't think about masterworking anything because of the requirements. And your RNG in strikes is not equal to anyone elses so you can stfu now. I played a few hours of strikes for the Vanguard pinnacle weapon myself and got all blues with a small amount of purples and not a single core. If you get a scrapper bounty that's 1 core but then you've gotta wait for RNG again for another core. You talk like your experience means more than everyone else's. You talk like it's a fact that the system has no problems and cannot be improved because you have decent RNG. You are wrong, the system can always be improved.

If it isn't a problem for you, then keep scrolling snowflake
