Also known as the Guys who look good in black. Actually in Drifter storyline

Right. It's not because I simply disagree with the fact that the Praxic Order want to start a war because of what someone else believes. Oh but darkness is bad, blah blah blah. They don't know shit about it, fair enough they're scared and want to protect humanity and all that but the Drifter left during the Dark Age in order to find a way to STOP the light versus light wars. He's seen more shit than the Praxic Order have, just cause they hoard dark artifacts, doesn't mean they know shit or that they should have as much authority as they do. They're starting the war, the drifter has done nothing wrong so far. The guardians that die know exactly what they're signing up for and play the game anyway. The Vanguard are in a weakened state, Aunor is using that to try to get us to blindly side with them after accusing us of playing a part in Cayde's death. We've been the blind soldier too long, I believe we need to learn more about our enemy and think about harnessing its power to use against it. Light can only take you so far, you think light alone was what allowed us to kill Oryx? We are ascendant, isn't that breaking a few rules?

You were suppose to destroy the darkness not join them, bring balance to the world not to leave it in darkness, you've become the very thing you swore to destroy

I HATE YOU!

Edited by cycofreak3: 3/13/2019 6:41:28 PMLol, "from my point of view the Vanguard are evil!". I mean in all seriousness, I love the Vanguard I really do. But the Red War really weakened their strength and there was less and less leadership there. Zavala got spooked real easy by the mention of trying to contact Rasputin in Warmind, Ikora had her own struggles with Osiris and Sagira but overall she came out better. Then Cayde done got done... That broke them both. Ikora lost her closest friend, Zavala lost a brother. Ikora wanted to give in to her emotions and get revenge, Zavala opted to stay put despite even Petra deciding to go after Uldren because in his state, he was a threat. Zavala only heard that we wanted revenge, he didn't think about what might happen to the Awoken, he thought only about what may or may not happen to the city of we went after him. I understand his thoughts and as the commander he needs to make those decisions but even he was succumbing to emotion there and his judgement was clouded as Ikora's was. Ever since, they haven't seen eye to eye and I suspect haven't even spoken much at all. Zavala never recovered from that loss and I do not blame him, this was coming not long after the temporary loss of our light, our city and countless lives in the Red War. The Vanguard are broken. There's simply nothing going on there now except Ikora talking about disbanding the Vanguard and giving Aunor the authority to basically take them down if she and her order feel it's necessary. Aunor and the Praxic Order seem pretty fanatic to me, they take anything and everything connected to the darkness to keep it out of reach of everyone which I understand but that's one group with all of these potential weapons, who are now starting a war in the name of the Vanguard because someone doesn't like the traveller... Isn't that a little extreme? Hence the reason I feel they're a little fanatical, they're willing to put guardians against each other in the name of their ideals. They will wage war over the belief that anyone with ties to the darkness is bad. What are your thoughts?

The Praxic Order is essentially The Jedi Order from episode 3 and all you dredgens are anakin. If you haven't finished the quest I won't spoil it for you, but uh bungie didn't go the route i was hoping for. I hope in the future with the dark vs light allegiance stuff they let the people who choose dark fall completely because, im kinda tired of the whole "gray is the most powerful" story.
