I agree. I am doing the same. I recently went back to Destiny 1, quit my clan, and joined a D1-based clan to run raids and strikes and help new players. I had more fun in my 10 hours of D1 a couple days ago than my 100 hours of D2. That is saying something. Bungie needs to wake the hell up. I am tired of the fanboys storming my comments and the threads of those who are quitting and then acting like they are the "real fans". These people are living off of a label and are not realizing that this product is OBJECTIVELY and FACTUALLY inferior to Bungie's first Destiny. Is it okay to like D2? Yes! Just don't be an idiot and tell me that it is factually better than D1. You know what. I am going to tell you how much I spent on D1. None of this is an exaggeration. I am writing this just in case someone bothers to tell me I am not a real fan. Real fans don't spend the money I spent, but lots of real fans like me did. -Base game of D1(release, with pre-order bonus): $60 -The Dark Below(with pre-order Sparrow): $15 -House of Wolves(pre-order): $15 -Base game of Destiny(again, but for PS3): $10 -Expansion Pass(PS3): $25 -The Taken King Collectors Edition(pre-order/and on Ebay): $250 -The Taken King(again, for PS3): $40 -Microtransactions: $50-$60(don't know exactly) -Rise of Iron(cancelled pre-order): $30 Total: $495-$505

  • How is it not? Please explain. I had this debate multiple times. I find very few things in D2 being factually better than D1.

  • opinion does not equal fact, except for these forums, apparently. your opinion of something does not make it a fact. therefore, it can't be factual.

  • That isn't how it works. You are working up a falacy. I never said my opinion was fact, instead, you put words in my mouth. D1 did lots of things objectively better than D2. If you want me to go into it, I will. But I won't explain why if people like you put words in my mouth. If you can't see what D1 did objectively better, then you probably never played D1. In that case, then you should just move along and go somewhere else. That is the nicest way I can put it.

  • The A-Squad. That is the name. Sadly, we are having a lot of people quit and I don't own it, so I can't help any of it. Feel free to hit me up if you join and I would be willing to help out.

  • Dang dude, you need to buy Bundles more my man. For D1, I spent $60 for the Base Game, $30 on the Expansion Pass, $40 for The Taken King and another $40 for Rise of Iron. That is a total of $170 bucks and I’m a huge fan of the first Destiny.

  • Yea. I know lol. I was pretty stupid back then but I was not really minding too much. I really didn't care. Nowadays, I would never spend that much money on one game again. :]

  • Exactly dude! Play something you enjoy. That is what I hope most people do. I love the thrill of ending a match in Crucible and getting a legendary weapon, and comparing it to another legendary weapon. Good times :]
