Oof.
I moved just a while ago, but the catch is that there is no wired WiFi where I live, so the only alternative is satellite internet. Because of this I’m having issues with the ping being too high (I did a small test and I’m averaging about 700 MS)
I guess it’s good because I don’t need to be playing games all the time, it’s just a bummer, it bricks a lot of the console games I play.
Any solutions are well appreciated.

How is Verizon signal where you live? If it's good, you can get a 4g hotspot with true unlimited data. It's a prepaid plan, for 70 a month, 65 with auto pay. If ya go to do it and it's 80 a month, you've got the wrong plan

Huh, if you have a service with unlimited data and unlimited HotSpot that's an option. You would have to look into the cellphone company to see if that's an option if you get decent service. Other than that, bummer.

2 RepliesDo you have your own cellphone (one that you pay for the service)? If so you can either run a USB wire from it to your console, or just WiFi it and use it as your internet connection. I have a friend that lived in the sticks, but was able to play MM games with our clan by using his phone as the ISP. Granted they had really good connection with it, and the plan was unlimited. The down side was that the phone got really hot. He used to throw it in the freezer between every few games.

Do some research and find out which sp games you like. I suggest games like disgaea that have seemingly unlimited replayability
