Too many ignorant replies tbh. Violence isn't the answer? My ass. Who cares what's legal or not? It goes deeper than setting a good example. He did his damnedest, and even though it isn't wrong or right, he got it done. His son isn't getting his ass beat at school. That's an amazing thing. Even Buzz Aldrin, an advocate for peace and bringing humanity to the stars and arguably one of the chillest people on Earth, has had to punch the bitch out of someone before. Violence is wrong, that's great. It's okay to believe that, but it isn't black and white.

Edited by Zionur: 2/28/2019 10:56:12 PMIt’s not ignorance. It’s called being smart. In OP’s case what he did was the right move to hit him. But violence is not always the answer. Police arrival times may be shit for your area but there’s a lot of areas where there is police posted everywhere which is why people are hesitant on hitting someone in front of everyone. Plus why waste money on bail for something as stupid as hitting someone? It’s better to wait for them to swing first that way it’s a win win situation. I find it ignorant to say violence always solves everything which is what plenty of people in this thread are basically saying which is just absurd.

Violence doesn't always solve everything. I was more addressing the people who seemed to think violence never solves anything. Yeah, it was stupid given the possible repercussions, but he still did it. Lucky dude.

Very lucky. Despite the 2500 dollars wasted on bail. It’s better than spending time behind bars.

I look at it like: “one day I’m gonna get in a fight where someone wants to hospitalize me or kill me, make sure it’s not me that is.” So if something happens your ready, if not, your in great physical shape

Exactly. Police arrival times are shit. I find people who are unable to commit violence to be lacking.

You raise a good point
