I've seen a metric shit-ton of posts about these two guns, and I figure'd i'd post a poll for the two or three people who see this. [b]Note[/b]: My ideals are not represented through any of these options. If there is an option you do not see on the poll, make a comment about what you think. Happy Guardian-ing? Guarding? idk, be happy. Edit: I'm seeing some comments for a nerf, with detailed explanations why they think it would help; Some people say "Make the gun exotic," or, "Make the perk activate only once instead of on a timer." Anyways that's all for this edit, not much to say other than have some fun crucible games, and i hope you have a delightful day today.

  • I earned the gun and yes it should be changed to have another perk, the dumb players who feel its in a good spot have no idea what balance is. So what if you spent hours and hours to get the gun? I did too and I hate having to rely on an overpowered gun to compete against other players using an overpowered gun. All this bullshit about git gud and keep your distance is stupid, destiny maps by default doesn’t have many open areas to engage at range. Once you reach fabled and acquire the weapon you will notice that a decent player can easily move around the map to close the gap so keeping your distance is not realistic. Players who earned the weapon only want to stay how it is because they love their clutch, I earned it and don’t bother using it because I enjoy other weapon archetypes. The fact is the weapon is OP and anyone defending it wants it to stay how it is because they cant kill with any other primary.

    • Tone the range down especially on NF. Make sure you MUST get 3 headshots in order to get a kill. Keep the perks. Done. [spoiler]This would allow for other handcannons to compete. 180s should have very little range to go with their low recoil while 110, 140, and 150 rpm handcannons have more range with slightly more recoil. [/spoiler]

          Try solo queueing Lunas and then tell me Luna needs a nerf. Its a pinnacle weapon, and its hard as hell to get if you are only a decent pvp player (like me). Damn right it better be a powerful ass gun Either figure out how to counter it (like everyone had to do once reaching mythic in comp) or bust your ass and get it. Simple

              • I've tried for 3 seasons to get lunas and cant reach Fabled. I've joined teams of 4 this last week and have lost 380 rank and 12 straight with multiple teams. Theres no reason a weapon should come down to RNG

                  • I have Luna's and I am 100 percent in favor of a nerf. At this point those guns are hurting Crucible more than helping it. And people who say "Waaaahhh, I worked hard for it so you'd better not touch it," cannot see the bigger picture here.

                    • Luna's is strong but fine. In good hands it'll eat blueberries but it's not hard to manage as a decent player. It's also attainable by most, even through public lfgs. NF feels a bit much. I know people have said it's only 1 or 2 more meters effective range but in practice it feels more than that. It is locked behind legend which is fair but it's effective range to 3 tap combined with only the best players having it can feel broken. I don't know why they needed to add it on top of Luna's as a Pinnacle weapon. Id rather they dropped the range to be closer to Luna's while giving it another perk like dragonfly.

                        The best thing would be not to touch Luna's, but introduce a Fusion Rifle / Energy Sniper pinnacle this season so that they compete for Energy slot. Bloom should also be removed from other HC archetypes. Ace should be on console what it is on PC. If it were up to me, I'd bump down the recoil from Last Word ads. More people would appreciate the gun then.

                        • As a decent crucible player who has NF and Luna, I think other guns that aren't commenly used such as High Impact Scouts, Non Adaptive/Agreesive frame Pulses, And Non Percision Shotties need a buff. I also think we need less flinching on snipers to be more viable on these shitty small maps

                        • Honestly no here is why, first the guns are pinnacle for a reason, second they are not hard to keep up with ik there time to kill is good but you can get a weapon with the right perks and beat it in a one on one scenario, lastly they are pinnacle rewards and if you have them use them pvp is about advantages over your enemies survival of the fittest stop with the complaints about weapons its a game if you don’t like the game don’t play the game

                          • One you don't see it being used in PvE at all. Two of course people are going to defend it because they don't see a problem because they already have it and don't want it to be nerfed in anyway and they don't want other people to have it. Three I have come up with two ideas and a shit third idea to fix the problem but no one wants to hear because they don't want fair and balanced. An four I clicked just wanted to see results because inknew what it was going to be anyways.

                          • I don't get killed by the gun as such. Let me explain. I've noticed that if I get killed by it, it's the same person that kills me with it the rest of the match. I rarely get popped by a random one-off using it. If does seem to me that the players using it are already very good. Whether or not giving the best players something to make them better is a good idea given the lack of sbmm is a worth a thought. There is no joy to be found in this game when you're bad at pvp. Quickplay, = Diequickplay.

                          • I have neither and I say leave it alone. People worked hard for those guns. If people are concerned about their prevalence in PvP game modes 'ruining' their 'casual' PvP'ing and making PvP 'sweaty', then they clearly don't understand the concept of PvP game modes. In other words; git gud.

                          • Botheration has both kinetic and energy versions of itself.... make LH and NF kinetic weapons too so there can be more weapon diversity by opening the energy slot.

                              I wouldn't so much change them as I would bring out more stuff that competes with them. The only weapons I feel that can give a team of lunas a run for their money is jotunn and tlw. The problem with nerfing them is that a lot of people put a lot of work into getting them. More so than any other gun.

                              • The pinnacle weapon argument is no excuse Claymore and Breakneck are pinnacle weapons also, but nowhere near has dominant and used has much has Luna. Buff the Broadswoard/Claymore to be inline with Luna's TTK, and give Breakneck a huge damage/stability buff
