Not necessarily a question but I had a thought the other day, just curious to hear other comments/ideas from the community when it comes to Competitive Glory Rank Progression. Why I still 100% agree that the competitive playlist is designed to be a difficult task to achieve the Pinnacle weapons from that playlist, what if there was a change to how people are awarded rank points the helps the player based that may not necessarily be very good at the competitive playlist. So my thought/idea was this... You know how Gambit doesn't award and Infamy points once you reach legend and you have to keep securing ONLY wins in order to finish the last stretch of the progression before resetting? What if the competitive playlist made had the same system throughout the entire climb to legend but removed the loss penalties all together. This still allows players who are not very good at competitive a fighting chance. Remove the rank decreases all together and only reward points for getting your wins, but have the players stay exactly where they are at if they lose games. Don't give them any points at all. I feel this could help a little bit because people who keep winning 1 game and then losing the next, they still take much longer to get to the highest rank in glory since they can't maintain win streaks, but are still able to climb when they actually do get wins. As I'm typing this I could have said the same thing more than once. Sorry about that. I just wanted to share an idea with the community and see what every one else thinks if this is a good idea. With de-ranking being removed completely, this would encourage more players to actually attempt the comp playlist right? Also would make people less likely to pay money for people to carry them to high glory ranks too. And also encourage more solo players too I would assume because I see a lot of solo players out there. But yeah... Just a thought. What do you all think???
