Companion app not full screen on Galaxy 9+

Hi. Until I upgraded Oreo to Pie, the companion ran quite nicely in full screen on my 9+. When I upgraded the OS and ran the app for the first time it gave me Pie's new bar down the bottom of the screen. Unfortunately the companion app was the first app I opened after upgrading and I inadvertently set it to regular size. A box told me I could go to recent apps and resize it to full screen. I haven't been able to work out how to do this from the recent apps screen. When I go to Settings >Display>Full screen, I see the app is optimized for full screen, yet no way to reset it to full screen. I have uninstalled it, reinstalled it, with no change. I have contacted Samsung, done all sorts of crazy stuff they suggested but no change. They suggested contacting the developers. The email off the Google Play page doesn't work, so here I am. To recap: How can I resize the app so it displays full screen on my Galaxy S9+? Thank you.

  • Hello, Please force close the app and try disabling the app for Full Screen in the settings. Then start the app again and see if it lets you select size. If not force close the app again. Go to App Settings Destiny 2 Companion and under storage clear the Cache and then clear Data. Next to App Settings Destiny 2 Companion and under Permissions revoke them all and under open by default cancel them all. Then delete the app and restart your device and download the app again and see if that works to let you set it up full screen again.
