I disagree with that idea. Disruption, maybe, but not "pollution." Writers deserve a place to put their works just as much as lore lovers and their discussion pots. Not that I don't love lore as a writer, but you know what I mean. They would be drowned out in the main Destiny2 subforum and likely received even worse. This is an offer and a temporary fix, not a demand or a "solution" to a "problem." Most people probably won't move to DestinyJournals. It's sad that this post exists, because it's sad that fanfiction writers don't have anywhere to put their works, but I felt like I should post this just to... put it out there.
On the other hand, for those of you that are, please stop being rude to writers. They (we) just want somewhere to put our work where it will be seen.
Yes, please stop polluting the lore tab.
Please! The only fanfics I like are bios of your character using actual lore that is here.
Outside that I love LORE not tje fanfic part as I do not have time to dabble in those theories and stories as this game has enough! All they gotta do is bring grimoire cards back.
The thing is... where else is there to go? In the general Destiny2 subforum, the posts would be drowned out and likely even more negatively received than here.
And I've been writing fanfiction since D1, the lack of grimoire cards isn't the reason people write fanfiction. The reason is that... people just like writing fanfiction, it's a given with any major fanbase. I actually think there's a lot of lore with the lore books that came out with Forsaken, the Black Armory, and not to mention all of the lore tabs for exotics and raid gear. But that hasn't stopped fanfiction and I hope it won't ever stop it.

I respect it and appreciate the [FanFIC] Tag they put. I honestly think the devs messed up in streamlining the forums.
I said grimoire cards cause it was nice being able to read a lore post and then check out the source from one app. Before, fanfic was tolerable for me cause some authors would reference one or more grimoire cards to their story.
Now to clarify why I get frustrsted sometimes? I love researching- and I hate fiction sources that claim to be real. It messes up my factual research, and then i gotta go back and yadayada ya.
When it comes to lore, I hit the lore tab to read people's reactions and look for logical conclusions. When fanfic floods it I get mad cause I do not want to dabble there- I respect it sure- but there needs to be one place for it. Imagine trying to find Lord of the Rings lore pages only to find fanfic pages.
<I mean the lore tabs in D2 provide a lot of content to work with. Bringing the Grimoire back isn't going to do much especially when the Ishtar Collective site has everything.>
