Dumb shit like that is why I stopped playing comp 1 month into this season. I made it to 1900 only for 90% of my matches afterwards to be nothing but some combination of teams without enough players, little to no shot registration, and solos in Heroic against 4 stacks with 4000+ glory that are zooming their way to Legend. It got so frustrating that I started screwing up in the matches where I actually had a chance and I finally realized that there is no reason to torture myself with that or have the only way I could let off steam be to come on here and cuss Bungie out (and we have seen what people cussing at Bungie has ultimately done to PvP and the Crucible forum). That and there was no way I was going to do all the other Mountaintop requirements when I can count on my hand how many times I've used a grenade launcher in this game. I will always stand by my opinion that the willful and somewhat arrogant decision to make PvP complete hell for most people that don't play on a team is what locked PvP into mediocrity from the beginning. It really could have been so much better.

Brother, I’m in the same boat... solo scrubbing my way, just needed 2 more f’n wins and LH was obtained. Nope, lose 4 in a row, now I need 6 wins. Their matchmaking is crap, absolute donkey dung... if I wasn’t so close I would say f it and move on. Nothing more infuriating, I could smack someone I was so pissed. Figure your shit out Bungie.

i do feel like there is something in place to keep you from enjoying thus game... i when from 0 to 1500 and after that i did nothing but lose so i stopped playing at 1400 and i haven't come back to comp, playing this game solo sucks ass.

They should feed 4 stacks to high comp. As many 4 man teams I run into, are you telling me you can’t match them against one another instead of a group of fu$king randoms of various levels. 9 out of my last ten games random vs teams. It so frustrating. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhbhh

Take the time to search for some decent players for your roster. It is not hard to send a quick little message to someone. If you want to get LH and NF. Swallow your pride and get yourself some teammates.

Destiny 2's comp player base is too small now as most people stopped playing. So you'll be running into the same 4 stacks over and over. Hence why they won't ban anyone either. There would be no players left

IMO a loss shouldn't drop you below the last rank you achieved. I.E. You just hit Heroic but won't drop below that point. The current win/loss mechanic on points keeps me out of competitive. Just zero interest. Yes competitive 100% needs a change.

I'm in the same boat and about ready to give up on Destiny. If I can't play crucible, this game is pointless. They took out Trials so now all the sweaty, no life streamers own competetive. Now the old competitive players are all in quick play on these stupid f'in 6v6 on tiny f'in maps. You can't even spawn in without getting team shot!!. There's literally no place for casual players to play crucible. And just in case that didnt make crucible miserable enough, now ppl just spam f'in shotguns that can now shoot a mile away, snipers, grenade launchers and fusion rifles, not to mention Last Word, Luna's and NF, bc hey, Bungie drops special ammo like f'ing candy! And so it's just a bunch of punks running around one shotting people with special weapons all damn day. No f'in skill required, no actual strategy or game play. Just spam your new POWER weapons in your special slot. Maybe Bungie forgot, the only weapons that should be one hit kills are GD POWER WEAPONS! I can't even get past f'ing Brave! before they start putting solos against 3 and 4 stacks! So Bungie has basically said FU to any casual PVP players. They have their special weapons only for those very special people who are skilled enough, can pay someone enough to carry them, or have no life and got Luna's and NF in the first damn week. I don't mind grinding for something but I am beyond f'ing pissed that they have locked a weapon, not behind grind, but behind skill and team play only. And THAT wouldn't piss me off so much, except, I can't even play f'in Quick Play now without having to deal with f'in Luna's or NF. If you want to lock a weapon behind f'ing competitive (the new trials) fine! Then they should only be able to use the GD weapon in f'ing competitive. You just said F casual players. You can't play crucible without just being f'ing meat for our precious streamers! And if I can't even play GD Quick Play then there's no point in playing this f'ing game! All that's left to us casual players in f'ing PVE. Well guess what Bungie, I've finished the story. I'm not interested in wasting time doing the same f'ing bounties over and over just to get the same f'ing weapons over and over just to do more f'ing bounties! If you do not fix f'ing PVP, the match making, locking weapons behind teams, 6v6 on 4v4 maps, power weapons in the special slot, I am done. I have been a faithful f'ing customer. Not just me but my husband, my two sons and myself. We will not be buying anymore DLCs and we sure as flick won't be buying Destiny 3. I will let every one know that Bungie doesn't give a shot about anybody except streamers and not t9 waste ur f'ing money like I have.

This is why there are now so many people resorting to paid recoveries. Now people like me come up against teams using Luna when all of my team are only heroic or less. My last 3 games consisted of a 3 v 4 followed by a pub stopping by a really good team, followed by being matched against the same team! Very demoralising...

There is just no excuse whatsoever for people to have to play stuff like that as much as they do. It's why I banned myself from comp a month into the season.

I just don't want to play comp anymore. I just want nf already. I should have it I used to get buffalo error constantly.esp on my last game to rank. U loose so many points for loosing. Matches take forever a few loses crushes a few hours of play time. I feel like nf isn't worth all this pain but I see others with it and I get motivated to get back in.sigh

Noticed this myself, it happens a lot, especially when you get a win streak going. They should give you a opt out of the game option if someone leaves and no ones progression is affected. The same if you get disconnected, which also seems to start happening alot more when you are on a winning run of 4+. Im sure bungie can acknowledge the difference between a genuine accidental disconnect and a purposefull back out or forced disconnect. If you do purposefully back out more than twice in a hour, you get a 24hr ban.

But comp is based around playing with friends and harder matchmaking... do not play comp if you dont like losing and play solo. If you wanna play solo then go for it or play quickplay, but dont complain about people that are in groups or them being better players because thats just being a bad sport. Use LFG's, discord, message friends or people you meet in quickplay or comp to group up. Thats not a problem of the game, thats a YOU problem and your the one that can fix it.

You only lose 30? I could've sworn I lost 50 in a match earlier. Either way all I saw was progression go way the -blam!- back, and thought nope, -blam!- this competitive shit it ain't worth it.
