• Are you aware of the Metro/Deep Silver/Epic Store/Steam shenanigans?

 • I am. But I enjoyed the books, and they've already honored my preorder. It's the way it is.

 • Fair.
Never got into fortnite or anything so never had a reason to look into Epic. Honestly Tencent sorta just sketches me out a little.

I'll probably snag it when it comes back around.

If the launch is rough, thanks in advance for being a paid beta tester =P
Its only a launcher, so it won't affect the game. It's a bit awkward, and I'm not a fan of how the Epic store is run, but I preordered a long time ago. Way I see it is I have two options. I can refuse to redeem my key to transfer my game out of some moral fight against the industry, or I can play the game I've paid for... Seemed like an easy choice to me. Wait a year and supposed to be on Steam, you can pick it up then.

 • I'll laugh if when launched from steam it just pulls up the epic launcher. There's a game or 2 that do something similar but with Origin instead. 🤣
