Stuttering Lags in Public Areas

Hi. I have stuttering lags in public areas after 7-10 minutes of gameplay. But in other activities (story, strikes, gambit, pvp, etc) i dont have any problems. FPS counter always shows more than 70 fps but looks like 25-30. If i go to orbit and return to location where i have lags - i dont have problem for same 7-10 minutes I tried: - Change Graphic Settings to low - not result - Change Resolution to 1080p - not result - Vsync ON/OFF - not result - Change Monitor framerate to stock 60hz - not result - Change FastSync Nvidia settings - not result - Change server from Europe to America - not result How i can fix it? Please, help. -- My Specs are: Xeon E5-2670; 32gb RAM 1866mhz; GTX 1080ti Gigabyte Aorus 11gb 480 Gb SSD A-Data XPG SX950U Playing on a 1440p 60hz monitor with OC to 70hz. Nvidia Driver 418.81. Win 10 1803 Graphic Settings - Ultra High 2540x1440 Sorry for my English )

  • Hi everyone! I did partially solve the problem! Thanks a lot @Marcel5D https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/250791093?sort=0&page=0&path=1 1: I downloaded NVIDIA inspector version 1.9.7.8 2: Set a frame cap at the driver level in the profile inspector. I set it to 73 fps 3: Vsync -> fast sync 4: Safe profile in nvidia inspector 5: Try windowed fullscreen in destiny(this was needed on my build), if it dousnt work on fullscreen. Now it's works more and more comfortable in public areas but I have some frame drops to 55 In difficult scenes. (When cap is off, i dont have it) BUNGIE! Please pay attention to this bug!

  • I saw someone else post a possible fix: Try disabling the Microsoft game service by taking control of it, then re-naming the executable so it wont auto-start, then re-boot. If it solves nothing, you can change the name back.

    • It's never going to be fixed. The problem has been around since the launch of the game. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/249592417?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=1
