Respawning and immediately getting shotgunned, sniped, obliterated by a super, or just regular old surrounded by 3 opponents. It has to stop.
I can't count how many times I've been killed and then re-killed by the same super because for whatever reason the game decides to serve me up on a silver platter right in front of them.
One time half of my team spawned in a tiny room just to be vaporized by a purple shield before we could take 2 steps.
On many occasions I am just running and an opponent literally spawns in my crosshairs, not even facing toward me... in shotgun range. I don't want free kills like that. I want to get kills because I outplayed my opponent.
Getting killed before you can even move, thats just not right. Not even getting a chance to fight back. It really sucks the fun out the game. Fix the spawn-kill issue and the crucible will be a much better place.

Thanks for the feedback. Finding a safe place for Guardians to spawn into a chaotic firefight is something we are always striving to improve. Let us know what maps you think have more problematic spawns and we will take a look.

This. Even in Comp, on the larger maps, I’ll get someone spawning right behind me occasionally.

Another effect of the double primary system that some idiot at bungie decided to go with. This game will never get over that. You can’t be spawn killed with an overshild while getting shot by a primary or at least not as often. Some maps are just too small to avoid spawn killing.

PVP is working as intended. Its designed completly for the the 400 pount sweaty peverted pub stomping cowards. So only normal people will upvote.

I suspect it's part of how they rig matches to keep solos hovering around 50/50 W/L, and to feed casuals the occasional kill so they don't rage quit crucible forever.

yesterday i was killed 2 times from the same super in 2 matches (dawnblade and spectral blade). And in one match i have killed 7 opponents with one sunbreaker super in 4v4 comp. So yes, something has to change!

It's because the maps are always too small for how many people there are. I mean, half the rumbles I win are because I'm moving out of the spawn range and going back in after two seconds and kill a dude that just spawned. Is it scummy? Yeah. Is there a reason not to do that? Nope. Although the change to heavy timer and ammo does make me do that less since there's not a dude camping heavy with an LMG 24/7 now and winning solely because they had heavy the entire game and spawn-killed with heavy.

The problem, and caused by the small maps, were born for 4 players. Then as usual, someone made a tantrum, and we returned to 6. But it does not work When it was 4vs4 it was fine!

Thought of you tonight when I got killed by the same DawnBlade 3 times in a row. While I appreciate Cozmo's reply, it's actually concerning as it reinforces the fact that they don't play their own game. Anyone who actually plays this game [u]WOULD NOT [/u]be surprised or even have to ask which maps. What's next? Is he is going to ask if we as a community ever experience lag due to P2P?????? Bungie/Cozmo, just own the spawns are broken. The community would respect you guys a lot more if you would just own up to the broken pieces of the game and actually discuss how you plan to fix them. Clearly as you see your player base drop it's finally time to admit what Bungie is doing, isn't working.......

That's what happens when you have maps made for 8 players now have 12. Mostly talking about Iron Banner. But, Maps need to be bigger now. Can they not expand current maps?

This literally just happened to me in qp. I was running around and guy just drops like 12 feet from me. I killed him, but if I would have just ran past he would have definitely killed me....I realize some of the maps are small, but there are definitely safe zones. If they just put respawns at least 100 yards from any player at spawn time that should suffice

Even though your post is about crucible (where I've definitely experienced this the most, nothing better than spawning directly in front of the super that just killed you), it even happens in gambit. https://media.giphy.com/media/9SINKpTN1syuAk0btM/giphy.gif Kind of sad when the game doesn't have enough sense to not spawn you directly into someone's line of sight, when there's plenty of safe space right behind that specific spawn point.
