Balance changes for One Eyed Mask are projected for early March.
We'll have more information in the coming weeks.

It's the principle of the matter. An exotic that punishes players just for shooting at an enemy player, in a first-person shooter, no less, is bad design, plain and simple. Not even saying it needs a hardcore nerf, but it 100 percent needs a rework.
-
Well it's getting a rework so I guess this isn't an issue anymore....

We'll see. This is Bungie we're talking about. At this point, I'll believe balance changes and such are coming if and when I see them in the game, not before. These are the same guys who said "Oh, don't worry if you don't have time to grind for the Sunshot/Sweet Business/Graviton catalysts, because you'll have another shot," strongly implying that shot would come in season 4. We're now most of the way through season 5 and nothing, no sign of them. So, again, I'll believe it when I see it.

Edited by acerspades1: 2/7/2019 11:56:33 PMOh FFS. Stop nerfing shit! Make other exotics more usable for each class. The Warlock can get boots that give quick blink or a helmet that grants radar...something like that. Hunters can be given bigger diapers and dummies for when they start crying like babies. Whaaaaaa whaaaaa whaaaaa 😥
-
Well to be honest we would be here if wormhusk wasn’t nerfed so...
-
I guess the crucibabies have been crying again
-
They have indeed

Edited by CPL_Carlos_F: 2/8/2019 12:06:18 AMbut it is broken man, you have 2 perks of other exotics but way better. Foetracer tracker needs you to aim to the target for a certain period of time to activate the relentless tracker perk manually, with One eyed mask if they shoot you, you have the perk, better. And Mask of the Quiet One, the dreaded visage perk says that if you kill an enemy(yeah, it's buffed, but compared with one eyed mask perk, it's bad) it heals you, but ONLY the red bar health, for me it's fine if you ask me, balanced, BUT One eyed mask heals you COMPLETELY, shield and health and it even rewards you with an overshield, really?

Right. OEM basically combines 2-3 good exotics into one, yet people still say "Hurr durr, it's fine, leave my crutch alone!" Hunters have Foetracer. Now imagine if Foetracer granted 30 sec wall hacks (instead of about 5 sec, like it does now), AND instant heals on kill, AND an overshield. Cries to nerf it would be absolutely nonstop, but when Titans have OEM, somehow that's fair and balanced.
