I need help understanding RNG. I’ve. Even playing this game since season 1 and my drop rate is significantly lower than most of my clan mates and friends who play. I’m an adult, and I get that exotics and good items don’t just fall every time, and that’s fine. I like the grind. It this is year 4 and I’m no longer excited to play this anymore, no longer happy to spend the $, and definitely not willing to relegate extra free time to this maze without any rewards. I understand that the “R” in RNG is for random, but why is it on the reddit threads and forums and stuff like that do see all this pics of guys with 10-20 of what I thought were “rare” drops and I’m stuck with extremely predictable drops. Is there a trick? A Bungie vip pass? Does the RNG deck get shuffled? Is there a “Shit Drop Rate” list that I’m on?
