You did not buy the last word. You did not buy the sleeper, thorn or any other weapon or item in the game. You bought a licence to play the game as bungie sees fit. As such, they can make any requirement they see fit to acquire any item in the game.

Yeah but I DID buy the annual pass, that’s my point, not the game on its own. So in a sense, yes, I did buy the Last Word, sewing as it’s not available to those who did not buy the annual pass.

You certain? Pretty sure I paid an extra $30 for something called the annual pass as well as the other $150 destiny two has cost with the base game and DLCs. Weird. And I don’t remember ace of spades of malfie being locked so severely as last word.

Yeah, pretty sure you paid for a license to play the game, that is all. The quests are whatever Bungie sees fit to make them. If you recall, the forums were just as ablaze with the Ace of spades quest was too hard posts when it came out. People are still complaining over some of the steps for Malfeasance -
Difference is they were in a necessary DLC, this annual pass is an extra to buy Bungie another year of D3 development

Nope, still covered by the same LSLA you agreed to.
