Thanks for the feedback. I'll let the team know to keep in mind for future quests.

Unfortunately one bad match can wipe out a majority of your progress. Whereas it will most likely take several good matches to get that back. It's not my favorite idea but I get why bungie did it this way. Really it's the quitting that has me most upset. Puts you at a real disadvantage and makes it very difficult to just break even. I dont mind losing progress due to me not playing well. But when I lose progress cause the other team is better and have scared away half my team then why should my progress suffer.
-
Nope. Played a regular match, then a Mayhem match since I saw people recommending that here. I don’t play it regularly. Almost never, actually. I’m not good at it and I have no desire to play enough to become good at it. I spent literally a decade playing mostly online FPS vs games and I’m over them. They haven’t changed enough in that amount of time and it’s boring to me now. I haven’t touched any in years now.
-
Mayhem is best for the medals step. Play regular quickplay with a pulse like go figure or blast furnace. You do get credit for assists so you can hang back and put damage in where you can.
-
Thanks for the advice, but I doubt I’ll be able to make myself slog through what will probably take me days to complete.

Edited by ImJarenWard: 1/31/2019 10:22:20 PMI dont like having to grind weapons, That i want to use in crucible. In other activities besides crucible. You understand? Make sense?
-
What ? Your sentence makes no sense. Well ,just like the loss mechanic for the crucible step ...

Boobies!

Thanks for listening but please disregard, pvp players now have an exotic to chase after and thats fine pve player have theirs, this set up was perfect just like d1 chaperone which provided a challenging crucible quest that everyone has access to. It requires a bit of skill so you cant just play long enough to get it, you actually have to EARN it.
-
they have no damn right when they have 2 other hand gun quest oh and plus if we want to get real about this then Bungie did some Fasle advertising then cause their trailer for it shoul;d have said PVP Only weapon
-
Never advertised that it wasnt either, it only said that you can obtain it, ans trust me, you can
-
Thanks for the feedback. I'll let the team know to keep in mind for future quests.
Cosmo great quest and story dont give it away or anything for that matter thats what separates the community. I would love to see more quest line for exotics and invective lol have a good one.

Bull shit if Thorn is like this they will have a issue on their hands
-
Bull shit if Thorn is like this they will have a issue on their hands
Thorn shouldn't have any pvp step I believe but a shattered throne dungeon like mission solo yeah. I mean they could go back to it being a random drop from turning in bounties just then do the bounty. I mean they give it practically to you all you have to do is get it. I mean if you cant do a bounty you think you deserve to have it. Yeah you bought the annual pass it doesnt say anywhere all exotics a easy to get. D1 everything was rng vex, ghorn and as for quest Thorn, touch of malice, necrochasm. Everyone on here wants the rewards but no work.
-
Your shits broken...... everything I see says it’s 2% per kill -1% per death..... if this is true this quest is broken.... my percentage was at 56% and in 1 match it dropped to 43% and I had an even k/d.... explain how I can kill 3 with a super and then die and it drops 2%. I’m not against having quest steps in crucible at all but I really hate this bullshit.
-
Dont change anything keep it the same the loss mechanics are fine
-
We've been telling you this and you still dont listen to us about how this sh!TY MACHINC dont encourage us to play pvp when everyone has asked for things to help improve your game. You just do your own thing and piss everyone off.
-
I loved D1. I thought D2 was finally going somewhere with these last 2 updates....1st the loss mech. In gambit for the malfeasance made it not fun, but I was able to complete it by just adding anywhere from 1 to 5 motes at a time(mostly 1). I hate crucible and am absolutely horrible at it, but will grind to finish a quest. This quest is impossible for me, as I have a horrible k/d ratio and I ONLY do crucible for quest completions.
-
The ONLY 2 guns I agree with OP onin regards to removing loss mechanics in quests are... Luna and Not Forgotten. The only reason I think those quests should not require a win/loss mechanic is because no other pinnacle weapons share that requirement. For exotics, like Thorn and TLW, it makes sense because of their deep seeded presence in lore.
-
Then give us guardian level enemies to fight in PVE since that would be more akin to the lore of the guns.
-
I don't think so. Those are supposed to be guardian killers.
-
Oh I'm aware, but crucible is hardly "guardian killer" status. Honestly it would be pretty dope IMHO to fight a trio of evil guardians, Ghaul style but not as dumb. Oh well, wishful thinking and too much coding I'm sure.
-
That would require effort. Wrong place bud. ...Lol...
-
Hey dude, guardian models already exist, just make them 3x bigger and BOOM, strike boss.
-
Promote this guy!
