Ban specifics

Does anybody know how to get a specifics of user ban? I mean is it for account only or device only or both - because system message did not provide any specifics at all, just "You've been banned, go to https://bungie.net/ban" type of message...

  • You will not get any specifics, as Bungi does not discuss bans/restrictions. In most cases, it seems it's just an account ban. However, if you rreally went and done effed up, it is possible to earn yourself a device ban. Only way to find out is to create a new account, purchase the game again, and see if you can play. If not, time for new hardware as well.

    • This is from Bungie's ban policy and my observations Typically, pc bans are due to software detected by Destiny 2 while running. These include but not limited to, trainers, aimbots, autofire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. any of these could cause a ban, even if not destiny 2 specific or if the license key(s) were obtained from a less than reputable source. Bungie does not discuss restrictions or bans. Restrictions are temporary, and will not be overturned or undone before they expire. Once an account is banned however, that ban is permanent. Account restrictions and bans are only done in extreme cases; if actions were taken against your account, then it was with reason. There are NO options to dispute or overturn account restrictions or bans. Bans are lifetime for that account https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11929
