Black Armory Key Mold Not Available On Second Character
As It says above I can't obtain the key mold on my second character which in hindsight is a much bigger problem due to the fact that I obtained the key mold on the character of mine that does not have a completed rare bounty to turn in which makes it so that either I have to gamble on the fact I get one from the other rare bounty this week or I am sincerely and utterly screwed over. I've tried to scan and repair and any solution Bungie has provided but I can't fix it. Hopefully, if this can be fixed it will be before next week when everybody who is effected then has to wait another 3 weeks for a chance to finish the quest again.

We are now in october and shadowkeep have launched, this was brought up 9 months ago and its still not been fixed, did bungie just sweep it under the carpet and just dont care about it at all anymore?

I have the same issue. I completed everything up to Shattered Throne on my hunter. But Ada will not drop the key mold quest for my titan.

Well it would seem that Bungie have truly dropped the ball on this one. I dont normally bother with these forums things but as a long time player of Destiny 2 I couldn’t help myself on this occasion. Bungie did such a great job at creating an entertaining quest for Niobe labs, clearly the best yet as it combines grind with interesting challenges. Then they make the mistake of not thoroughly testing and then thinking through how this will play out for gamers. The rare bounty drops are too rare; Shattered Throne has a 3 week window.....are you serious Bungie? You claim you’re all about player experience. Well nothing annoys games more than having to play to the Developers timetable and not the players timetable. Your on notice Bungie continue with this gaming model and I’m of to Anthem.

Someone on reddit mentioned they said this won't even be fixed this reset (not sure on source). Which is a huge bugger as I'm sitting here with an alt that got the mold and opened the box but a main that has the rare bounty and on the week with the dungeon. So I have to pray that a rare bounty even pops on my alt in the next 3 days (which seems unlikely since I've only gotten 1 since black armory came out) or else this content that they time gated from us is getting another 3 week time gate put on it as we wait for the dungeon again. Feelsbadman. You'd think content being time gated wouldn't launch broken.

This combined with not being able to do 50% of my Radiant Frames each week because they disappear after doing 1 is making me super salty. I feel like I can't really play Black Armory since I'm glitched out of being able to do half the content

So not only is the quest hitting a RNG wall with the Rare Bounty portion of the quest, but you also cannot seem to get this key mold on more than one character. So I basically get 5 daily quests a day to HOPE I get a rare bounty to do this quest. And HOPE I get it in time before Shattered Throne goes down for the next 3 weeks. AND we got started a day late because nobody could figure out the puzzle. AWESOME.

I got into the same situation like you where I'm being so perfectly screwed over right now. Bungie.... I really hate to say this but can we consider these character dependant things more wisely next time?! At this point most people wouldn't be mad if you set everybody's maximum character number to 1. ALso, saving bounties in a already flooded pursuits tab isn't smart, it's cheesy and garbage, when is that getting addressed?

Yup, they are "aware" of the issue. Here we go again...whatever, since I'm now at a roadblock and I'm not going to sit around and hope I get a stupid rare bounty, I guess I'm going onto fortnite until bungie actually fixes their stuff yet again...

Same here. PS4. Ada-1 does not give the black armory key mold to the other 2 toons.
