I want to start off saying I very much enjoy the forges and black armory as a whole and cannot wait to see what Niobe Labs brings.
With the pleasantries out of the way, let’s talk about some quality of life updates to the forges.
[u][b]Return to Ada-1[/b][/u]
Let’s face it, as much I like OG Ada, I don’t want to return to the tower as a quest step.
[b][u]Launch the forge from orbit[/u][/b]
Select the forge from orbit/map: matchmaking.
Select the forge from planet/in game: no matchmaking.
[b][u]Rally the flag[/u][/b]
Start the activity with full ammo.
Not needed, but would be nice.
[i]Public event flag will do for now[/i]
[b][u]Maximum Temper[/u][/b]
Increase the time after completing a forge.
Add an after match screen with boss dps, batteries thrown, etc.
Fix the bug that doesn’t allow us to back out, so we can stop instinctively smashing the cancel button over and over as fast as we can until it works. ... again...

Make a triumph for unlocking each forge and have that unlock them. One and done.

Really. Just make the forge like the crystals in strange terrain. Maybe not as magnetic but if I hit the forge it shouldn’t bounce off.

There needs to be other opportunities to get the forge armor. One drop from ada and a very rare chance at a special bounty is not enough.
Maybe have armor bounties and let us forge em like guns.

Well said about everything wrong with them and why a lot of us are burnt out on them. Kinda hoping the lab is a never ending one with better loot the further you get, kinda looking for a challenge this expansion. The bouncing tho, that's just aim. Never hit the pillars on the side once you're on level 2. It is annoying, but meh it ups the difficulty so that's cool.

Just 1 question, to anyone that can answer me this. Does the damn batteries being thrown also has RnG to them? I mean 6 outta 10 batteries I throw bounce back, and some take sooooo long to pick up or you absolutely cant and have to leave it for 1 of your fireteam to pick it up. We about to get the 3rd forge and we still dont have a fix for this. Just so annoying

If you have already unlocked a weapon, why do all the grinding steps again? It's boring, I haven't do any another weapon frame besides the original ones I got because of that.

my characters took so long to pick up an orb, it felt like the animation to pick up the orb takes forever. couldn't be bothered now.

Redseign the Titan Armor. The forge legs make me look like Spongebob.

Armor should have been a slim drop like from archons forge on top of the weekly reward

I agree with everything but the balls batteries or whatever they’re called not hitting the forge right. In the second part you have to hit the inside of the forge not the 4 outside posts. It’s lit up blue that’s the part you throw to. That’s the only time the batteries don’t count.

The battery bounces are frustrating. Not because it happens, but because it happens so inconsistently.

Return to Ada-1 is necessary for story progression, since there aren't any cutscenes and Ada doesn't use any form of communicator. Forges are at location so no one has to load in the fly in animation from orbit to the destination, which saves on loading times and it's easier to find players who leave the activity. but I mean if it's too inconvenient..

It's not cool when I throw the battery at the forge and it just misses it, forcing me to chase after it like a dog to try again. Also make every square inch of the forge able to accept batteries. Why is it that batteries just bounce off certain parts of the forge? It's seriously annoying.

It's bad enough we can only hold one frame at a time, going back to her is just a completely unnecessary step that has no point other than eating our time up. I've watched her put the lime in the coconut enough times now that I ought to be able to do it myself.

Agreed, but I would like to include that Bungie need to link the forges to all chars in same account or at least after you’ve opened all forges from your main char make faster/shortcuts to others chars, it’s really a waste of time do it all again.

Agreed. I didnt know you only had to hit cancel once though. Ive been smashing that button like its a quick time event.

Agree with everything except visiting Ada. That's the only bit of story/interaction/dialogue we get with this release, so I would rather keep it. I usually have something else to go to the tower for anyway, and if I don't, I wait until I do to go see Ada.

After spending the last week grinding for the usual rampage, outlaw pulse rifle, I decided to test one that had rampage on. Yeeeaa, I’m just going to stick with my go figure with kill clip, outlaw. Wasted a lot of time chasing something that’s not worth chasing.

Also make the armor drop randomly at the end, just like the reskin year 1 guns.. and give them unique perks..
