Hey Wednesday. I see that you're having connection issues and receiving various error codes.
Most of the error codes you described are general networking errors.
So let's go ahead and make sure your ISP is not facing any turbulent packet loss. Please follow the steps below and let me know the results of this test to see what is taking place with your connection.
For PC

1. Open a command prompt on a client PC, via the Start Menu search for "cmd".
2. Type "ping www.bungie.net -n 300". (This will ping the address 300 times. Substitute 8.8.8.8 with whatever address must be tested.)
3. Copy the results and paste them in your response to us.

For Mac
For Macs:

Thanks for the quick reply. It was very frustrating to receive no answer last time. For some reason I am having trouble copying and pasting from the CMD window so I will just type in the results: "Ping statistics for 104.20.28.30 Packets sent = 300 received = 300 lost 0 Approximate round trip times in milli seconds: minimum 9ms maximum 36ms avrg 9ms " I have run the test twice before receiving the same results.

Cool. Thanks for that. You may want to review our guide on improving latency and packet loss to see if that might help. You may want to follow our Network Troubleshooting Guide for best optimizing your connection to Destiny and our Advanced Steps Networking Guide for possible router solutions, such as enabling UPnP, IPV6 and Port Forwarding information.

I don't understand your answer. I ran a test showing that I have no packet loss and low latency so why would I focus on improving either? This problem did not exist pre dawning event update, could it not mean there is a problem at your end of things that needs to be patched up? Also I would like to understand why this problem accures specifically in Destiny but not in any other online game I have been playing (overwatch for instance). I do not like being disagreeable but it feels to me that something is broken at your end of things and you are sending me on a wild goose chase. I am not looking to blame or take out my frustration at you, I just want the problem fixed.

Edited by BNGHelp6: 1/7/2019 5:22:55 PMDestiny is a very sensitive game that requires a constant connection with no interference. Other games are built differently. If there is interference, such as latency issues, you will receive error codes like CURRANT, CABBAGE and RABBIT, which are all general networking errors which are usually a result of modem or ISP issues. If you are on a wireless connection, a wired connection is recommended to play Destiny. If your internet connection is being used for anything else besides playing the game, such as watching a movie or streaming, it's recommended to quit those programs. Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:
1. Clearing your console cache or Performing a Scan and Repair in the Battle.net app 2. Power cycling your internet router
I do not want to get to much into it but a game as wide spread and connection based as destiny should not be built sensitively. The average sure should not have to go out of their way to make it work. My ping test shows that I have both a constant and quick connection with your own server. I am using a wired connection. I did run scan and repair and I do reset my router once in a while. Scan and repair seems to have improved the rate of errors but not fixed them completely.
