Why should people play in NA servers if they're not in NA?

Heya. This is something I've had in mind for a huge while, and it's (for me) a huge negative point on Destiny 2, if not the biggest. I'm from South America. Brazil, specifically. I've seen thousands of other Brazilian players. All of the Destiny 2 servers I've played in had lag. The lag compensation in PvE works great most of the time, so that's not an issue. Besides, it's not like miliseconds matter in PvE. The problem arises when playing Crucible and Gambit. Because of the lag, everyone not in NA but forced to play on their servers gets a huge disadvantage. And it's really, really frustrating. Every shot feels like a prefire, you die after getting in cover, shots take a whole second to register. Again, this doesn't matter in PvE. The problem is when playing PvP. And I'm sure it's as bad for me as it is for anyone who IS playing in NA servers. No one wants a laggy teammate. I'm not asking you to buy servers for PvE. Hell, if you don't want to do it for Gambit, don't do it. If you don't want to buy them for regular crucible, don't as well. But please, the least you could do is buy them for competitive crucible. Playing Competitive matches on Crucible, while lagging, sucks. It takes away all of the fun from the game. I don't know the statistics, I'm sure you do. There aren't just a couple of players from South America playing Destiny 2. Your whole website is translated to Portuguese. The game is completely dubbed and translated to Portuguese. Many other companies have noticed the huge number of players in South America, and taken care of it. It would be amazing if Bungie could also do their part. Thanks.
