40+ trying to help an 11 year old. There is a big knowledge gap here. He downloaded Destiny 2 months ago during a free to play weekend. We just got it for him for Christmas. He put the code in, but it is the same as the Free to Play Weekend. Super minimal. When we put the code in, nothing changed. When we put the code in again, it told us that the code was already used... We cannot find the actual contact information for any real human beings anywhere. I know, I am a dinosaur, but please help me. Thanks.
The code won't work the second time because you already redeemed the game. Firstly, please state the exact name of the item you purchased and what the code said was redeemed when it was entered. This is important because some people get confused over what is included in what purchase, and the item you purchased may not have had the Destiny 2 base game as part of it, so knowing what you actually bought will help us assist you. If you checked and it did have Destiny 2 (the base game) as part of it, then try the following things. If you haven't tried already, please try to restore your licenses for Destiny 2 as per the following instructions: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181 If you have tried restoring your licenses and that didn't seem to work, then please uninstall Destiny 2 entirely and then reinstall from the store page for it.
Hey Nuclear What exactly did you buy to have that code? There was someone asking a month or so ago about the free copy of destiny and if it would expire and he did find a date that said it expired so it was more an extended demo. You'd have to ask Sony if the free licence has expired. Is there PS plus upto date and still subscribed?
