We recently went from 5e to starfinder, and it is awesome. I love this system so much more than 5e.

Starfinder uses the same system as Pathfinder, right? We used to play Pathfinder, but most of my friends prefer D&D 5e.

It takes a lot of the stuff you have to manage in Pathfinder, and condenses it. You also have things like a energy ac and a kinetic ac, but it works much the same as Pathfinder. It's just a little more streamlined.

Ah. I don't think I really have a preference. I'm more into the role-play and hanging out with friends than the game play itself.

Oh definitely, I just love the sci-fi fantasy so much more than plain fantasy.

Have you heard of Stars Without Number? You can pretty much do whatever you want in it! A buddy of mine ran a few sessions of it earlier this year and his little cluster of stars had a fun amalgamation of sci fi, fantasy, and some horror mixed in. Some worlds were hyper advanced and knew of Psionics while others were still in the dark ages and considered it magic. Two of our party were generic space dudes, but another one of them was a Psionic Crusader Knight that could form glowing "Holy" armor and weapons from his "faith" and my characters people were space Gypsies ruled by witches!
