Casual Gamers
Casual gamers are ruining this game. I understand that they play a large amount of people in the game player base. But you should not just give away every Greta armor and weapon just like that. Destiny 1 was awesome because it meant you had to do the raid to get the best gear possible in the game. Right now your RNG is shit. I’ve done Last wish more than I can count on two different systems and still haven’t gotten the 1000 voices. I help a casual lfg through and he gets it first run. Wtf. It’s kike that with every armor and weapon that should be only allowed to hard core gamers who actually put in 1000’s and 1000’s of hours into your game. Yea sure they buy this pass but that’s all they do. The hardcore gamers are the ones who spent a lot more money and time in your game. Maybe you should put some thought into the hardcore gamers. The cuasals are only here in a very limited time. What will happen to your game the the hard core gamers leave because you couldn’t attend to them. Who agrees with me?

I read a lot about hard core gamers and casual gamers. What I am wondering is if there is an accepted definition for each title? What makes you a "hard core" gamer? What makes you a "casual gamer"? And, is there anything in between?

The fact that you don’t have what you want debunks your whole rant. It only proves the game is too much of a grind which = casuals not wanting to play.

claiming who spent more money is a bad idea. im not willing to tell you what i have spent. that said casual gamers arent the ones ruining the game. all players that cry nerf or gimmie this for free or whatever are part of the problem. not one group. hardcore and casual fit in that catagory. ppl that think everyone should play the same way are the worst problem. you play your way and i will play mine. have a nice day...

The rest of the tiny segment of the player population that considers themselves hardcore agrees with you. Well not all of them. Some of them at least have the integrity to think that if a reward they want is locked behind garbage RNG they grind it till it drops. Most players just care about their own drops so requesting a change for your own personal drops isn’t going to very enticing to others.

3 RepliesI am in the same spot with over 1600 hours on the game. I did the Last WISH RAID 35 times with NO 1K to my name, I have seen people that just play less than 6 hours a week get the 1K on the first run. There should be something in place that when you put enough hours in a game that it was just drop like when you play a game like call of duty , you know when you get the last level you get the gun so you grind to get to the last level. I ask for feedback on this forum from Bungie time and time again to help me understand why is the RNG hurting the hardcore players but I get nothing in return. I have become the laughing joke because each I go for the chest I get nothing but the same weapons or armor that I have already. Let face it , this game is all about luck & no skill or grind is going to help you with luck
