If I'm going to complain and leave a game, its not going to be over something silly like cookies during a holiday event.
I'd bring up the fact of how the new DLC has no new content and is just a boring tedious grind. It doesn't even have any new missions or new campaign. I'd bring up the fact that skilled players aren't being rewarded for their hard work because, titles are locked behind RNG and being lucky. Those are valid points to complain about.
Cookies though? Not so much. A holiday event doesn't interfere with the overall game and its just an optional activity you can choose to do or not. People complain about the wrong things and that was the entire point of my original post. People are complaining that its too feminine or its introducing too many homosexual characters. What does that have to do with anything? My point is that people want to complain about something, it better be valid.
My comment to you wasn't a counter argument in the slightest, I just find it odd is all. It was an observation and people dont like being called out like that. I'm genuingly sorry if I triggered you in any way. When I left a certain MMO years ago after the game went to shit, I didn't keep up on its forum posts. Players leaving speaks volumes and doesn't require my commenting on the matter. Thats all I meant.
