This still a thing?

Seen a lot of feedback from players asking for this. I will let the team know this is a highly requested change. Thanks.

I completely agree, and I am not even a casual player. I play a lot, I just think it's weird how other aspects of Destiny 2 reward you for having characters in each class and experimenting however when it came to this dlc it seems like its just punishing you if you want armor pieces for those other classes.
-
This is the way it should be. The same for pinnacle weapons. I use all three characters. Why should each have to do individual quest for the same weapon?

The thought of having to do the forge grind on my other two characters makes my bowels irritable.

This^

my hunter is dead so dont do this bungie!!
-
Indeed, I'm not about to do any of this BS on 2 more characters.
-
I like how anthem just lets you have access to all classes (Javelin suits) with one character. Won't run into this issue.
-
Yeah. Having just finished the Izanami forge quest, this is clearly a way for Bungie to milk the DLC for all it's worth by making you unlock these forges per character. Having done the Izanami forge, I can definitely say I won't be unlocking it on my other characters. It's just too petty a grind to have to repeat it across all characters. They could've made it account wide but they knew it would shorten the DLC and prompt the slew of "nothing to do" rants. The forges are a nice idea and I like them however it's seems way too petty to have to unlock them per character.

Half the time your spending waiting for certain public events having Warsaw flashbacks from d1 sitting around and waiting and waiting and waiting

BUNGIE I SUMMON YOU !!!! i will probably never unlock the forge on my warlock, or my titan...the izanami quest was the worst quest i've ever done in destiny 2. i will never do this once again. hope they make it account based...or at least making it a much more short version of the quest. ps: if you hire people to imagine quest lines, litterally anybody n this forums could do something better than the guys who did this questline.
-
Yes!!! The quests to open them are more tedious than fun.
-
Pretty much every comment here is echoing the same sentiment. Are you seeing this Bungie?
-
-
Another character is another reset, it goes against that.
-
In fact, there are already several account-wide things (Valor/Infamy/Glory/Faction rank) AND even a quest (the Crucible pinnacle weapon). So why not this? “The way it’s always been done” isn’t a great answer.
-
No, and here's why. When the casuals complained the forges were out of reach the hardcore players chimed in and said no, it's endgame. (I'm speaking in generalities, some people's opinions varied obviously) It's endgame, it's supposed to be a grind. If you want it on all three characters, do it three times. I know a lot of people disagree, but has there been any other segment of the game outside of crucible/gambit/faction ranks that shares the progress across the board?
-
I agree. These quest lines are not challenging at all they are just plain boring and tedious! Something that was obviously designed to deliberately waste our time and make it appear that there is more content than there really is.
-
Agreed, the latest forge is not something I wanna unlock on all three, the game has become tedious enough.
-
In have 3 toons but all be darned if I'll run it on all of them, heck I was falling asleep through the quest to long and boring as heck 12 steps to unlock a forge come on bungie make it account wide it's the right thing to do
-
100000% agree. Why should this artificial grind be imposed on us just to access an activity? I wouldn’t mind as much if it was entertaining, or short. But the latest one is long and totally boring. Doing it once is bad enough.
-
This! There isn't enough time remaining in Season 5 to get through all this crap 3 times and still earn full sets of BA armor and the weapons.
-
Tell me about it. It nearly took me all day yesterday to do the quest line for the newest forge. No way in hell am I going to feel like doing that again for my other characters.
