I don't have a really deep insight as to why I don't like the event. Others have these really profound reasons for not liking it (it is too feminine, rather have SRL, etc.).
I have just a simple dislike for it because baking goods in a game just seems so childish and elementary. It's something I'd expect to do on a Facebook game, or some kind of free Android app that comes packaged with viruses lol
I mean, it's pretty lame, and that's about as nice as I can be about it. Doesn't appear as if the creators of this event put much thought into it, or maybe they just really enjoy Facebook games idk lol
Tbh, I guess I'd rather have had SRL too lol

They’re saving money by putting the least effort possible. Hell, they can’t even be bothered to give voice lines for gift recepients. They’re pathetic hacks.

I'd have preferred SRL as well, of course. But considering that our Guardian is an unstoppable death machine who's been protecting humanity from annihilation since his rebirth, I don't think he needs to be insecure about his machismo. Our Guardian could bake cookies, make quilts, knit scarves, iron shirts, change diapers, and collect cute figurines... and he'd STILL be a badazz.
