You Guessed it

Several of my friends purchased Forsaken during the black friday sale and we when through the illusive steps to connect our accounts via Bungie's broken webmaster. Why this is not an ingame feature is beyond all of us, regardless all accounts were linked yet no quests were delivered to the characters. The system got stuck at confirmation stage. We tried everything to resolve the situation to no results. This is actually my second attempt to get bungie help along with my friends seeking help independently. We all have characters and Forsaken yet the Refer a friend pages reads. "Awaiting player to purchase Forsaken and Create a Character." We have all created new characters and still nothing, We did everything suggest from exiting the bungie site, full system restarts, game file validation, clearing game cash, and much more. After attempting to confirm purchase one of my linked friends has fallen off my friends list. Again we followed every listed steps indicated on the web page along with the BNGhelp response indicated by other players with the same issue and it still failed within the 7 day grace period. 1) I need this issue bounced up to actual support technicians. 2) I want Nakani back on my friends list, We did everything as instructed and should not be punished because you can not set up an ingame linking system. 3) I feel we deserve these promotions as we payed for them, and completed all of the requirements. We simply did not receive the quests, and the Refer-a-Friend promotions was a deciding factor for the purchased among several of my friends. It is unfathomable that Bungie does not have a basic ticket system? This forum method is so out of date, and the utilization of Admin-Helpers as a substitute for actual customer support is not a good sight for any business. If this is truly the best professionalism that Bungie has to offer then this is my last Bungie game. I will never recommend it to other players unless things change, even if it is offered freely. Recommendations. 1) Stop worrying about new content and focus on fixing what is broken. 2) Fire your Webmaster and get a proper ticket system where the Customer or a 5 day no response closes tickets. 3) Fire these helpers and train some actual Admins with the ability to perform actual customer service. 4) Put some of that microtransaction income back into the game. Here is to hoping for more than a pre-approved Copy/Pasted response that does not resolve this issue.

 • Hi. Thanks for your report. You and your friends might need to log out and back in for this to work correctly and confirm the link in your Bungie.net profile. If you or your friends linked up or purchased Destiny 2: Forsaken longer than 7 days ago, you aren't considered new players anymore and can't play the quest with each other. If you are still within the 7-day timeframe, you or your friends might need to send the link again, or create a new link. Additionally, you may need to completely log out of Destiny 2 and log back in to fully connect, then go visit Hawthorne in the Tower. Finally, if you or your friends are gamesharing Destiny 2 content, you won't be able to complete this quest until the accounts own Destiny 2: Forsaken.
