Trials was the very reason destiny 1 prospered. Why change something that's not broken? The formula for destiny one trials was perfect especially with heavy only being available once per game. If bungie wants to keep the pvp scene in tact they need to bring back 3v3 elim. The community is screaming for it. Is it really that hard? Even if 3v3 elimination was a limited time mode that would satisfy the needs of a large portion of the pvp community. (Oh and please fix the tracking on one eyed mask its ridiculous.)

I hope they don't bring it back, at least as it was. Trials brought out the worst in people and was rife with cheaters and most certainly was not the reason D1 prospered.

-blam!- you
Trials was the very reason destiny 1 prospered.
Get the sweat out of your ears and go play another game. If you have any questions I'm sure Bungie will help dig your grave for you.

"Trials was the very reason destiny 1 prospered." WRONG Trials came at the end of the first year in Destiny. When Destiny still sucked. The Taken King is what made D1 good.
-
Lel you kill your point in that first part.
-
Dedicated servers first, then trials.
-
Hope not Worst thing that ever happened to D1
-
It was really a arena for nerf herding and bellyaching. It made d1 a nerf dest and ruined amazing pve weapons. In kinda glad its gone
-
Trials was the number one reason why so many things were nerfed.

Edited by Not Pie: 12/11/2018 1:29:09 AMThey won’t bring it back because trials showed and boiled the meta to its very core. Trials in d1 exposed how strong thorn was and caused community outrage of how useless every other gun was because of that. In d2 it would only further exacerbate the Luna/dust rock meta and show how broken wave splitter, telesto, and one eyed mask currently are. If the meta is boiled down further to just these weapons, the game will become toxic and the community will want changes; changes Bungie will not deliver. Bungie is by far one of the least caring, most lazy companies in the video game industry, they want money but do not want to work too hard for it, that’s why 4 of the 6 new armor sets from forsaken were recycled and minimale altered sets from d1 and d2. Getting back to what I was saying about trials, they won’t bring it back because it’s too much work for them to do and there is no promise of money. I want trials back too, but I don’t see it happening.
-
They should bring it back, but maybe re-name it seeing as they ruined the reputation of the man in that crappy dlc.
-
I was never a huge trials guy but I would jump in if it were 3v3 no revives, no heavy, and one super per match. I just can’t get into a game mode and take it seriously if there’s bullshit like supers and heavy. Yeah I want that stuff for regular PvP but not competitive and SUPER competitive shit like Trials
-
I would say based off the comments the community is not screaming for it.
-
No thanks 🙏
-
Hell no.
-
No, trials is just a money maker for streamers selling carries!! This game is better off without trials!!!
-
Until the get a work around Ddos cheaters it's never coming back
-
They cant bring back trials because of all the bullshit that's currently available at everyone's and select players disposal in the crucible.
-
3v3 elimination trials was the best!
-
No thanks, destiny is better cancer free.
-
The sooner Trials dies the better.
-
-
And with trials will come of wave a nerfs to our favorite weapons.

Edited by blade329: 12/10/2018 9:14:33 PMI normally don't care, since I didn't like that mode, but I really disliked the Trials community as a whole. Biggest group of whiners, cheaters and complainers in Destiny and they cried for nerfs constantly. Heck, they cried constantly over EVERYTHING. So, I'll gladly support Trials coming back as long as its player base is permanently muted in the message boards. lol.

Agreed. Give the hardcore PvP people somewhere to beat on each other, so the rest of us can have a PvP game that doesn't make us want to throw our consoles through the front window of Bungie HQ.
-
I don’t play trials but even I agree it should come back. Removing content for the die hard pvp fans is stupid. Give them back their favorite hunting ground. Comp and quickplay will never be enough to hold them over
