One Thousand Voices terrible on console
This gun needs a fix on the console. It doesn't do nearly as much damage on console as it does on PC. It's pretty much useless in PvE right now. With it being the super rare raid exotic, it should actually be good.
A couple YouTubers have shown that FPS effects its damage, similar to the chaos reach issues. I believe a fix for this gun hasn't happened because there might not be enough console feedback.

1 ReplyThe weapon's damage on PC is bugged. So if you run really high framerates the weapon does more damage than intended.

1 ReplyWhelp, according to the Twab, console version is functioning correctly, but the PC version is bugged and getting fixed so its damage is more in line with the console version.

1 ReplyI've posted about this very issue, since Bungie said they "were going to look into it", it must have been taken into consideration right? Wrong. However I have since found and was also told hip firing weapons such as cluster bomb rockets or even 1k voices increases its ability to do more damage. I went into PvE and tested this on an Ogre on Titan (,the lost sector one) and the results matched what I was told. Hip firing 1k voices increases its damage because the damage doesn't get affected by frames(although theoretically the more visual obscuring an effect such as explosions should lower your framerate even if you're hip firing because there's more explosions going on in different areas so it should affect the framerate, how does it not do that? I couldn't tell you) . After testing hip firing twice i then decided to try and ADS (aim down sight, just in case you didn't know what that meant) and i wasn't surprised that it did less damage. I have a theory about how it works. I do believe that the since the explosions are focused in one particular area, the less frames you'll have because you're getting the "lag effect" as i call it.

They also need a way to increase or guarantee the drop for those of us who apparently have the crappiest rng luck of all time. I get that it's supposed to be rare, but 36+ clears and still don't have it, yet teammates who have gotten it, have gotten it 3 and 4 times over.... I can't wait to feel the same frustration for the anarchy. yay......

i only use it on strike bosses and such rauds it just gets outclassed

Yes I agree with you I also play with it on console and also the other thing working against it is without any fusion rifle reserves armor perks it only holds 7 shots total literally less than half of what sleeper simulant holds

1 ReplyStrange, i find that it does great damage on console, but mind you, i never lose fps, maybe it’s dealing too much damage on pc? I hope bungie addresses this as it keeps coming up though.
