Im so salty..

I know i jyst posted but im actually salt town 3000.. six straight 618 glove drops and bungie expects us to be able to raid?. Edit: wow bungie actually found a way to top it! 3 hours + grinding and it deletes the sniper frame from my inventory !! XD XD Do you even play test your game bungie!?

            • Imagine infusing your energy weapon to 610, next drop is a 611 energy weapon then 612 .... You can't make this shet up, the ''smart'' loot system is garbage & Bungie should look into it, or maybe it is done on purpose to make the grind ''longer'', idk

            • Looool your not a streamer to get a 635 prime engram while your power cap is 609 & get five exotics a day. Simple as it sounds. Most streamers hit 640 before even the raid dropped. Everyone else can go have some fag shit in the go fagging forge. XD

              • Since BA dropped I've gotten (IN THIS ORDER): 2 helms 2 primaries 1 helms 1 primary 2 secondaries/energy 1 heavy 1 helm 1 glove 1 boot 1 chest It's a nearly perfect order to minimize or negate the power gain potential of each drop. I was a pro player through TBC and WOTLK. Charting effective progression curves and obtainable loadouts was a big part of that (if you tanked paladin in TBC you probably worked off my charts). That was possible because every action had a predictable range of outcomes. Maybe this boss doesn't drop what you need this run, but they only have 8 items on their loot table, so odds aren't that long (and the off-drop probably benefits someone else). Destiny, especially D2, especially D2 BA, does not have predictable outcomes from results. It's a roll of the dice every time, with those dice rolls effectively time gated. Unless you roll and run mule characters (and scrub them regularly) the only workable method is obscene time investment and dumb luck. Bungie DOES NOT have experience making this type of game. They are not an mmo house and their team has inherited very limited mmo pedigree. The raid/world team has some mmo veterans and it shows (that's a good thing). The core experience shows the impeccable Bungie-brand attention to "gun feel" and kinetic combat. The progression curves and systems stand out as the main area where no one involved seems to know what they're doing. It honestly feels like core questions like ROI and anticipated redundant action aren't even being asked. I honestly believe the people in charge of this aspect of game design do not speak the language, aren't familiar with the principles or academic aspects of progression mechanical analysis. If there are people who do get this, who eat Rappoport for breakfast and Foucault for lunch, their voices are marginalized from deliverable content. I've been saying this from the D1 beta: Bungie needs to get their heads around the fact that this is NOT a brand new genre, that there IS a pool of knowledge to draw from, suck it up and accept that they have made an mmo-lite and apply appropriate design expertise.

                  • Ill get on this hype train, how is it that i am in a situation where literally ANYTHING except a pair of arms would be beneficial and then would u -blam!-ing believe it...I get not one, not two, not -blam!-ing 4 but 5 arms from powerful gear drops?!?!??!

                  • I have had two 610 prime engrams drop as helmets, and 3 milestones dropped boots and another 2 dropped cloaks... Really jumping up there towards that 640 for the raid pretty quick... Best part of all is i'm forced to play things i don't want to play in order to get these "Powerful" rewards that don't actually help... And then when the milestones are done there is literally nothing left to do but wait for another reset... Good move Bungie.

                    Dude, I was 585, did ALL my milestones on my titan + only got primaries + arms (already had 600 primary) so I made 3 power overall. Moved the guns tiny hunter, did ALL my milestones n got 95% guns, so my hunter is still lower than my titan. Totally not doing my warlock, CBA with wasting my time. It's 100% fake longevity, it targets things you don't need, it's due to shallow loot pool, shallow content, n aimed to keep you playing. Bad design n terrible economy to boot

                    • When you lost the sniper frame did you have another frame for the auto or machine gun as my friend had a similar thing happen he had a mg frame then got the sniper and when we went to do the sniper he noticed he lost the other as your supposed to only have one at a time for the actual black armory ones

                      Yeah, I made a post last night about how they are actually encouraging preparing for power level BEFORE the dlc hits because people have to both be lucky with rng AND hoard previous bounties and such to be high enough to attempt the raid at launch. It's not a huge deal, except that blind raid runs are my most anticipated experiences in destiny which are near impossible to accomplish a week or two after launch AND they give emblems, jackets, and rewards for.completing it in the first 24 hours. Those of us who keep previous content in our inventory have no possible way of leveling in time for the raids(two raids in a row now that I've been screwed by the progression system beforehand) and like I said, it's not the end of the world but it is disappointing nonetheless

                    • Have you opened a Glove Store at the Tower yet? A friend of mine had so many Boots and Snipers he wanted to open a store that sold only those items in the Tower. Couldn't get a permit from the Vanguard, so he gave up on Destiny.

                          Stuck at 612 as I had 6 yes 6 -blam!-ing helmets in a row at 609. Then 3 weapons at 609. Thank -blam!- fir primes that took me up to 612. Now I have no more powerful or prime engrams at all on my map to grind for and they never came back at reset. I just have an empty world with nothing to do.

                        • For the last month I've had 2 heavy weapons @ 600, dozens of 600 armor pieces, a boat load of primaries. In the last week, I've received 4 heavies, along with 3 cloaks, and 1 pair of boots.... RNGesus H8s Me.
