(Updated w/ actual TWAB link and response) This Week at Bungie will be like:

This week at Bungie, we're celebrating the launch of the Black Armory. Over the last 48 hours, many Annual Pass owners have made their way into the Volundr Forge seeking powerful weapons and rewards. In the days and weeks to come, we look forward to releasing additional opportunities to create high level gear. In the meantime, however, let's talk about upcoming events for all players of Destiny 2: Iron Banana: Lord Saladbar is back at the Tower! Compete against other guardians in the Iron Banner to earn new seasonal ornaments! As always, the gamemode will be Control. Unsurprisingly, your teammates will still think they're playing Clash. This season, we're testing out a new change for Iron Banner. To reduce the imparity in power levels between teams, you will only be able to participate in Iron Banner if you are at 650 power. In addition, you must equip shotguns and/or Telesto in all three weapon slots. All subclass supers will be replaced with Blade Barrage for the duration of each match. Players who succeed in completing a new quest will be rewarded with Arson's Rage, a new pinnacle Rocket Launcher! This tracking Rocket Launcher has a unique perk that fires all rockets from your inventory at once when fired from mid-air! In PvP, you are guaranteed to get a kill, regardless of your accuracy. PvE: For those PvE oriented players, we have another pinnacle weapon to hunt down: Mediocrity's Apathy is an SMG with its own unique perk! Final Final Round allows the last bullet fired from your inventory (re: not magazine) to do 33% extra damage! Wow! To compensate, all other weapons will no longer fire bullets in PvE gamemodes. Instead, they will fire lettuce (not Romaine!). Gambit: Fixed an issue that prevented fireteams from being matched against individual players. Solo players should once again find themselves facing fireteams, as originally intended. Annual Pass Pass: For players that have not yet purchased the Annual Pass, we have exciting news! You can now choose not to buy the Annual Pass for only $41! (Players who fail to purchase the Annual Pass Pass by 9/14/2014 will recieve the Annual Pass at a fee of $40, automatically applied to your account.) Now here's Cozmo, with the Movie of the Week: Movie of the Week: Cosmo: "I thought you said feather." That's all for this week! We look forward to reading your feedback over the coming days. DooJ, out.
Edit: Since it isn't pinned on the forums, here's the actual TWAB: https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/47518 I was pleasantly surprised to find that the exact requests I made for the article were present, in addition to a couple of suggestions from other users. Satire aside, I think they did a good job communicating on this one. I'm a bit disappointed to see that Sentinel hit detection fixes aren't TOP priority, given the rather weak state it's in, but oh well. The matchmaking changes for Competetive sound solid, and I'd like to see them expanded to Gambit as well. The weapon changes (specifically Fusion Rifles) sound like they'll be conservative nerfs, which is much better than going overboard the way they used to. *cough* Nerf Fusion Rifles *Cough* Anyways, thanks for the massive response to this thread. It did quite well for a blob of word soup that I threw together at 4:00 in the morning, hahah. Keep calm and fight on, Guardian.
