All it does is limit the gear u can use. I dont get the point of it. Cores are obtainable its just pointlessly time consuming to get gear to max light to gauge how good/situational/bad it is. Knowing in a years time max the gear will be dead it jst seems weird they nerfed the fun factor, as trying new gear in D1 was half the fun when the content dried up. Why should i grind cores just to be able to max light 5-6 dif set ups, when I know the gear will be useless by the time Ive done it? makes no sense and if they removed them people would still have to spend loads to masterwork their favourites anyway! It kills variety
