I really wish i could say your wrong about this dlc. But honestly..... osiris>black armory

HELL TO THE -blam!-ING NAH. THAT PROPCHEY GRIND WAS SO -blam!-ING BORING. I DONT CARE HIW LONG IT TAKES FOR BALCK ARMORY TO GET GOOD, I CAN GUARANTEE YOU IT WILL BE BETTER THAN CURSE.
-
Uh hu. Says the one that could play on day 1 without error codes
-
Hey Have you compare Black Armory and Curse long term effects?
-
I need a shake head machine to disagree with this but I really am curious why you think so.
-
Also osiris didnt break east coast servers
-
Osiris wasn't time gated.
-
Also Black Armory isn't technically DLC. It's to go on top of what Forsaken has to offer, which Forsaken is a full year(lasts till September) the Annual Pass adds on to the End Game content almost weekly. CoO and BA are two totally different entities. To compare the two is silly.
-
Yes that would make sense if it wasn't sold under an " annual pass" and not under forsaken. So to say that it is ment to build off of forsaken but they are marketed as two separate entities ( to use your own analogy ) is kind of bull. Also to be fair they are both classified as " micro dlc" with forsaken as a "comet dlc" so i find it completely reasonable to compare the two. Just because you need to own forsaken to play this dlc doesn't make it another part of forsaken. By that logic warmind and osiris are also extensions of forsaken since you need to own them to play that too.
-
Forsaken is the cake. The Annual Pass is the icing. You don't NEED The Annual Pass but it does make it that much better.
-
I get what youre saying. But really this was marketed as a dlc. Not an extension to forsaken.
-
It wasn't though. How many times have you watched the ViDoc?
-
If im sold a toaster, and buy an extension cord to help out with the toaster reaching an outlet, is that extension cord now considered a part of the toaster. No it just helps out the toaster. Now replace toaster with forsaken, and extension cord with black armory
-
That analogy doesn't work. They don't coincide. That's why I went with the cake one. Think of this. You have the cake. You eat that cake for 3 months and it's been delicious and you will keep eating it because it has been good to you. Now, those 3 months in you have a topping that pairs with the cake very well(in this example I'll say icing once again) and they tell you this is supposed to be around 3-9 months so you say hey, I'll keep eating this and it's still got that Forsaken flavor anytime you eat but now it has a tasty topping(BA) to last a while and ENHANCE that flavor(Forsaken). Here in about 3 months(March time) another topping(Joker's Wild) will come that will compliment both previous flavors and keep you wanting more after you've had it. And same thing in June when Penumbra comes out. You will always still have Forsaken in the background while The Annual Pass adds to that(both in content and in PL increases which they said would raise 50PL every Season and you don't need the Season Pass to get those PL increases). It's not bad, it's just different than what has been done in the past and that's not a bad thing. In TTK and RoI they didn't have an Annual Pass and back in both of those DLCs things grew stagnant. This setup fixes that problem AND adds more to last you throughout the year. Just level up some and you'll realize this isn't as big an issue as people make it out to be unless they bailed on Forsaken early on and didn't even pop in a few times to make sure they reached 600PL before BA dropped.

Look you dont have to like my opinion but it is what it is. I payed almost the same amount for the two and i can have my own opinion on this stuff. I really dont see why you are fighting me on this so much.
-
Because yours is opinion. Mine is fact. They sold it as add-on to End Game. Whether you and the OP decided to heed those words especially with a PL increase coming is on you guys. This DLC is different, it's meant to be. It's not supposed to be easily accessible because if it were people would have blasted through it and then complained about how "lackluster" it was. Plus it's not like I'm commenting on your comment, I agree with xT3MP0R4RYx and am backing his "had shake machine" comment while also trying to explain why in this situation and why your assumption of what BA was supposed to be isn't correct. Oh and that no DLC could be as bad as CoO was. No matter how you paint it.
-
Look im not even reading this stuff anymore. I have my opinion. You have yours. Thats it. You can keep fighting over somthing that doesn't matter with a stranger over the internet. Have fun.
-
It's cool to bail when you know your assumptions aren't backable. Have fun being taught what's correct by a stranger over the internet.
