First forge end game? not quite, while the BA theme is to add to the end game experience justifying the absence of the usual content of quest, strikes, etc, the first forge is not it, its the start, the fact that 3 more forges and one raid are coming invalidates the End Game excuse for the mess that was BA launch. The issue here that all of those with the bungie goggles and earmuffs aren't seeing is that its not the grind for the necessary level to finish the introductory quest that is the problem, its having to grind the same OLD stuff we had been grinding for the past months coupled with a cut on power of the powerful rewards from milestones. Had this grind for the first forge been something to be done with the new content you wouldn't have seen a fraction of the complaining you are seeing in the forums and elsewhere.

A good number of people do not think chasing PL just to do first of many planned activities coming from the Annual Pass to be "end-game". Let the activities themselves be the end game and not the grind in order to do said activity. I think people get that. It's that there isn't anything new to do until you get your light level high enough to have a chance to beat the Forge. No new strikes, no new Crucible or Gambit maps, no story missions or adventures. Since there really isn't anything else, the first Forge should have been placed at a lower light level. I'm not saying it should be so easy a baby could beat it. Due to disappointment in previous dlc the player base has been reduced. The choices Bungie has made for Black Armory might end up reducing it even more.

My favorite part is when Xur comes around and I spend the 97 shards to get an exotic I haven't got yet and it gives me Sunshot! Happened 2 weeks in a row! 😂

The problem with your whole logic is that you consider this end game content, while this is literally the first thing introduced with the season pass. Also, the light level has increased for everyone so there would be absolutely no meaning in buying the pass right now if i have to do the same things i used to do a month ago for levelling up. And that’s just stupid
