No I wouldn't, I can say this as I didn't when I dropped.
I did not complain about any d1 dlcs.
Although to make d2 enjoyable for me they would need to make so many changes. So I suppose I wouldn't be happy with a d2 version of dark below...... or would I.. Not sure
