Is this an out of season April Fool's Joke?
Keep seeing people say "bUt ThIs IsNt A tRaDiStIoNaL DlC" and "iTs OnLy BeEn A fEw HoUrS"
Sorry no, as a community we've been screwed over countless times. I've stuck through since beta D1, old account is DarkStarYakuza, did everything possible in D1.
Can anyone name one time where content came out and you had zero access to anything new? Go ahead, think of one time from Destiny 1 launch till now, then answer.
Grind old content to play new content, that's pathetic, honestly. Grind all the stuff you've been grinding all fall again, but this time with +1 or +2 power drops.
Has anyone has a new weapon or armour piece drop? Played all evening, got nothing.

Honestly I’m with you but u know what I did... I did the best thing you can do to stand up to bungo... Just not buy shit I literally been through Destiny since dy1 go a head look me up first leg in D1 was the Fulcrum never deleted it cause it was my first leg but when I bought the warmind dlc and seeing all of the stuff happening I just said -blam!- that I’m not buying another shit ass dlc like the dlc in D1 were not perfect but they were timed and gave a great amount of content Crota brought a new raid new exotic etc. HoW brought a new social a new horde activity PoE and new things to look forward to then the Big NUt that was TTK brought a whole new play space (a fooking Dreadnought) new raid somewhat ok (various opinions) campaign sike shit was great raid was ass cause that shit was TOO DAMN LONG LIKE GODDAMN I DONT LIKE WASTING 3 Hours on one activity if you had a bad team. And the One that brought the biggest NUt on top was RoI. This... THIS update and dlc is the base that all dlc should be like. GREAT NEW SOCIAL SPACE NEW RAID NEW PLAY SPACE GREAT CAMPAIGN GREAT NEW STRIKES GREAT SHIT IN GENERAL... these d2 dlc.... just makes me sad... so after all that I took a pledge to never buy another dlc unless someone buys it for me without me asking because I just can’t keep supporting bungo’s decisions.

20 RepliesOnce I saw that Last Word quest was held back to the end of January. Everything was clear and pointing to a time gated content. Why on earth you time gate a D1 exotic? that’s pathetic. This thing should be handed free once you arrive to the tower. Its freaking weapon thats 4 years old!

Last Wish had the same issue. Wasn't able to get on for a while as I was only 520-530. And when I got to 550-560, LFG posts had skyrocketed to 590+ I'm really thankful Forges have matchmaking. If not, chaos would probably ensue.

5 RepliesThey might as well have just time gated the entire content. Yes there's a forge now but 95% of players won't come close to beating it at this light. They have obviously throttled the light drops to stretch out the grind, and I think that's what pisses most people off. It's a pretty blatant way to try to make very little current content last longer. I really think we shouldn't be surprised by now, I mean we're, what, 4 expansions/DLC drops in now and only 1 was any good (though still had/has major issues). I will probably complete the forge later today but my experience, so far, of black armory has been to literally do all the same milestones we've been doing all forsaken with the addition of about 20 mins worth of quest that really just boiled down to 'go to EDZ, do a few public events - done'. Overall, pretty underwhelmed so far, which is a shame as I really want D2 to do well.

1 ReplyI agree. I tried to play earlier today and it's just freaking boring, tiring, and pointless crap. I stopped playing a month or a few weeks back due to how awful everything has been. I don't want to grind all the old content by myself anymore. I want something new to give a reason for me to play it. And note i've been with destiny since beta D1 as well. And this is the FIRST time i'm saying i wasted money. I bought the annual pass for $35 and I thought it was a wasdte due to how slow the progression was. Yes i'm only 580+ but that was all i could get to alone. I have no clan due to trust issues and such but all my friends who i used to hang out with done everything without me already so i've been a solo player for a while now XD I can only get so far being being solo. So having to continue to grind this slow progression hurts my time and resources.

Why do you think it didn't take much down time for armory offical release. When ppl say this isn't an traditional dlc it is because bungie changed how they update the game. Bungie explained how it worked. Its Not their fault ppl didn't pay attention and I still see no issue to it as we were delivered end game content. All I see is something new to acheive.

1 ReplyFunny thing is that you don’t have zero access to anything. At 600, you can complete the public events in the Outskirts and earn weapons w/ random rolls. Then you keep grinding out that light and at 605, yes 605, you can complete the Forge very easily. Stop bitching, and leave the game if ya want.

I believe all the new weapons are either Forge or Raid weapons. Or, like that Atalanta 5b4eb28ryevrvtbrieowpwjegruei3746462829293u464u4urvrbfjeirir7fyf5vt CD 8r9393i4g4g48393's9f8gury3g4v that dropped for my friend from the Shield guy in The Outskirts, just new versions of old weapons (which I called months ago)
