The Mountaintop grenade launcher for crucible, The Breakneck auto rifle for Gambit, and the loaded question fusion rifle for vanguard strikes. And it got me thinking…what about an iron banner pinnacle weapon? Other Than Powerful engrams to earn, there isn’t much to chase in Iron Banner, and a pinnacle weapon to earn seems like an obvious addition to the event. In destiny 2 right now, iron banner loot isn’t too exciting, besides the bite of the fox sniper that’s an absolute monster. And theres really not much of a reason to play iron banner after hitting the power level cap. But imagine if saladin were to bring a different pinnacle weapon quest each time he came to the tower, and you had just that week to earn it. You’d be spending a good amount of time in the iron banner to acquire it. Since bungie likes to reintroduce old weapons so much, reintroducing some old iron banner weapons from destiny 1 would absolutely get the community excited. Imagine if bungie reintroduced Felwinter’s Lie, Clever Dragon, or Original Powerhouse machine gun Jolder’s Hammer. Hopefully we will see something like this for season 6 and 7
