Say a 2-5% chance for better loot? Why or why not?
Prove to me why its wrong. They are better players right? Shouldn't effort be rewarded?

Special cosmetics or something of that is fine but something that give them an advantage over others isn’t in my opinion but that’s just my view on it

Edited by Cozyman Cam: 12/6/2018 3:24:57 AM
Would It Be Fair If Game Developers Gave Preferential Loot To Streamers?
Not without having a disclaimer displayed during the entire stream. It would otherwise act as false advertising for the gaming experience.
Personally, video game streamers are boring. I have a difficult time staying engaged. I'd much rather watch the rantings and ravings of a comedian ostracized from Hollywood for telling the truth about the abuses of placing children on hormone blockers for two hours than watch 15 minutes of some stranger play a video game.
1 ReplyEveryone would become a streamer then. And there are some people who are even streamers now who really shouldn't be streamers because they lack charisma and sometimes aren't even that good. Though, partnered streamers do get a lot of benefits from the company of the game they play. DE has a program like that for their more well-known streamers.
Fair and Wrong are different. In my opinion, this example would not be fair, but wouldn't be inherently wrong either.
^Wyoming

Earn your damn stuff.

Yes bc idgaf

Oh I'm excited to see where this leads...

Not better reward but I'm fine with then putting things like streamer items in a multiplayer game as skins or promotions.

Just because they are steamers doesn't mean that they get special treatment. If they are good enough to make a living from their videos then that's reward enough for them.
-
Maybe for tournaments but no, not for normal PVP

1 ReplyHeck naw.

4 RepliesBecause if you are going to favor a person just because they stream they gain a huge advantage. Imagine being really good but not a streamer in a competitive game mode, just to lose to someone who is on your level because they are handed what they want.
-
The streamers are able to show you how to get there, they show it can be done and how. If you give them an advantage like that, then it no longer means that anyone can do it with enough time invested, it immediately becomes, they did it because they are given special treatment. Just my 2¢.

Lmao 😂NO!!!!!
-
What do you mean if.. it seems like they already do.
-
2 RepliesEdited by Catty_Wampus22: 12/4/2018 5:03:53 AMNo because you are incentivizing them pushing your product. So you have someone advertising your product with things other players will have a harder time obtaining. How does being a streamer mean you are a better player??
-
2 RepliesNo because then we cannot have video game communism.
-
Well it is fair because streamers earn shit all and do a good job promoting their game for them. Its like how mobile games offer incentives for watching ads...except in this case the streamer is the ad and deserves much more for his efforts.

The only time a content creator should have access to anything before other players is if it's A: a review for an in-game item or B: it's testing something in early access. Outside of that, no. People shouldn't get an in-game advantage because they're popular

Missed opportunity to rustle some jimmies
-
10 Replies... No, because all loot should be acquired via microtransactions...
not included in the DLC
-
They stream the shit constantly, they'll probably get better shit anyway.
