Have jobs?
Lose the job.
Having any sex?
Stop it. Sex = minus kills. No sex = plus kills. Think you should have any? No make Destiny your pussy.
Got a sh¡t bucket?
Going to the bathroom you're not playing Destiny. Get a sh¡t bucket you're playing Destiny.
There ya go that's all you need!
Edit: TRENDING. Didn't think a fan of Destiny that hates it's current state could come this far.
Edit 2: There are so many replies by this point I can't like them all. Thank you all for making this thread great during this terrible time in D2.

Edited by WiggletonBandit: 12/4/2018 4:44:15 PMTL;DR - Ultimately getting good is relative to your natural ability. I've doubled my K/D since I first started playing and still enjoy casual PvP. That said I long gave up on any delusions that any amount of practice could ever allow me to compete at higher levels or reach pinnacle level rewards without significant assistance from friends far better than I, who incidentally also play far less than I do. - It actually has more to do with natural ability than most players like to admit. Top tier players like to say "git gud" as if practice and no-lifing the game is the only barrier. Practice definitely makes a player better, but there are limits based on natural talent and ability. I'm almost 40. I love Destiny and PvP, but that said I've never had the reflexes or reaction time needed to compete competitively. I started D1Y1 at about 0.6 K/D, and by the end of Y3 I had climbed to around an even 1.0 player in causal playlists. In D2 I'm currently around 1.2 and I don't really see myself getting much better. The limitation for me is ultimately that I find my reflexes limit my choices in load-out. I find Snipers and Hand Cannons almost unusable because of the precision aim needed to use them effectively. Similarly shotguns can be tricky for close combat due to the narrow field of view and the sheer number of Hunters in PvP used largely for their vertical mobility (hunter jump) and horizontal mobility (dodge) which takes advantage of the narrow FoV. I was able to improve primarily by finding weapons and abilities that worked best in the mid range (pulses, fusions, LMGs, Grenade Launchers), and becoming an expert in reading radar, spawn control, and general map/objective awareness. I know that unless I can take an opponent by surprise or have them outclassed in weaponry I'm going to lose my 1v1's most of the time so I tend to play the outside, let my teammates lead, and play more of a support role. I've also found Titans to be more my speed vs. the more popular Hunter class because again I simply don't have the fast reaction times to take advantage of the Hunter's quick jumps and close range mobility, and find warlocks a bit too sluggish in their movement.

The only way to get super good in PVP is to: Join a PVP clan that will allow you to join up. Participate with them in a 6 stack. Easy.

You should change your title to: "How to be a god at crucible101!"
-
No, i do not pvp a lot but when i do, i always take a poopoo on the ennemy team. how ? why ? omg !? well ... i mainly use the most OP exotics in PVP, yes (hate me) but that's the only way to get W's in that f HELL HOLE And always leave a lobby that is infested by premades, as a solo player THAT IS A GOLDEN RULE

Need a poop sock.

Now you tell me...

Shotty/GL Luna’s/NF Coil Go unbroken
-
1. Always check the roster. 2. If you see a 6 stack pull out. It's honestly that simple.
-
Or just spray telesto everywhere, seems to work ok for me 🤣👌🏼
-
Its way more simple than that. You boot up Destiny click on crucible in your directory and load after that you can click on people and they die. Sometimes you will come against a player that will click on you as well (this is a very rare occurance) when this happens you can run away and click on other people that wont click back.
-
Step 1: use bygones Step 2: profit

Colonel 100 in a day

Oh it’s the, “good players must be virgins” meme Didn’t realize it was 2003
-
Lol. I have a great career, wife, 2 kids, house, side business and great social life and managed to get Not Forgotten and a very good KD. (I’m on PC btw). IMO it really comes down to natural skill and decision making abilities from knowing the game. You don’t have to no life the game.

Edited by Lil Scooby77: 12/4/2018 2:41:29 AMBungie needs to actually collect the salt they produce with pvp so they can start their own salt distribution and self publish Destiny 3. JJ has to realize this opportunity is right in front of him. Edit: Not pointed at op just the overall hate pvp gets based on the comments of other threads.
