In the future, can we make ghost projections a secondary reward for bright engrams (along with shaders and transmit effects)?
They just feel useless and stale, and it bugs me when I get them instead of the emotes or ornaments I want

I really hope y'all aren't grown men complaining on here like this. Damn that's sad 😂
-
I wish I could get one with a middle finger...oh how I'd love to shoot a bird at some people!!
-
Yeah they dont give bright dust is what annoys me. I get we unlock them and shit, but when I get something new, I melt it into dust to get more collected, unless it’s BA of course.
-
2 RepliesI don't mind those. Just don't wear em if you hate em.
-
3 RepliesThankfully they're not like D2 Vanilla shaders. I like them. Kinda neat seeing the image pop out. Now that we know they can do this perhaps Bungie will make our Ghosts project the map instead.
-
If they could be 3d and animated they might be a bit more novel. The current ones look like something they made us design in primary school computer lessons.

They just feel useless and stale
That's because they ARE useless and stale. They're freaking hideous, serve no purpose, and yes they clog up a loot pool that was already oversaturated with crap. Why in the world would I ever want the Hakke logo shooting out of my Ghost's head like the world's lamest imitation of the Bat Signal? Why can't I destroy these for bright dust, along with all the useless freaking emotes that I will never ever use? If you're going to force this crap on us in the loot pool, at least let us break them down into something remotely useful!

3 RepliesBut my kitty ghost.....has a kitty ghost projection. That all that's really important in life so I don't see the problem.
-
3 RepliesBUT THE REAL QUESTION
why isnt the bat one yellow
-
1 ReplyGhost projections are just dumb... period. Really, what is the point of them?
-
4 RepliesI never use those. Delete them instantly. They just look stupid.
-
They're the most pointless addition to the game. Ghost spawn effects would've been better.
-
They should have been mods for ghosts.. extra rewards or xp or increased sparrow speed. Something to make them an asset.
-
I would have preferred sparrow horns to make a return instead. Not really sure of the rationale behind the ghost projection idea. Sounds way cooler than it actually is. But hey, I'm no designer and I'm not in tune with what people like these days.
-
3 RepliesCompanies shove plenty of useless shit in their loot boxes so it takes you longer to earn what you want. I mean wtf.....ghost projections?? I only pull it out when I summon my sparrow. And -blam!-ing transmat effects??? Ships that only appear in loading screens??? Could you imagine if everything was cool as hell in those engrams. That would incentive me to actually give a crap about them.
-
theyre for money cuz mr activision mad at papa bungoi
-
3 RepliesHey, we all asked for Sparrow Horns and we got Ghost Projections! Next time try and be a little more appreciative when Bungie totally ignores what we want in favor of what someone on the dev team thought was a good idea!
-
That's the only reason bungie added them... So you dont (or have a smaller chance to) get the good stuff
-
ghost projections were just a way to dilute eververse. they aren't really that interesting.
-
How are they gonna get as much wallet lettuce from you if they take them out? Making new content is too hard.
-
They should be hologram hats for our ghosts!
-
Literary the “stupidest” cosmetic in this game. Bar none.
-
1 ReplyTbh I hate them, they look tacky.
-
Just remember that adding crap to the loot table just makes it even harder fir you to get that sweet exotic thingy. Rng is a bitch
-
i have not and will not equip one. They are pointless and kinda dumb IMO
-
Can we just get rid of them all together? I hate the useless crap they throw in the game. I'd rather a new weapon or map instead of all those types of things (emotes, ghost projections, emblems, transmat effects, jump ships, sparrows). All of those things are useless and just take up room. If you want to have them in there, that's fine, but cut the number by 2/3s and put the resources somewhere else.
