As a Titan main since D1 I say: NO!

That's easy Jonnyboy, because the most people don't know how to play the bubble properly.
A sentinel bubble is in basic gameplay not for buffing your team like in D1 (this role has the Warlock now). The bubble is, how I call it, THE BACKUP PLAN. See, there will be the situation at some point where the enemies will kill you. Maybe with AoE, maybe as an Invader in Gambit. But nope, you pull out this shiny violet glowing bubble and it will save you and possibly your teammates. The only thing the bubble is designed for is TO HOLD A POSITION FOR A LONGER TIME.
In control the bubble can help to capture point B (or any other zone under fire) while providing protection inside of it. With the Saint Helmet you can also engage your enemies with Blessing of light.
In PvE the bubble can help for example, to block massive amounts of damage and thrown debuffs. Maybe while you are reviving a teammate in a nightfall.
To list up the advantages:
- Can provide very good protection.
- Can allow to hold a tactical position in combat.
- Can grant overshield due exotics.
- Can't be destroyed easily.
Since you are comparing Well of Radiance with Bubble, I will do it too.
Pro's:
- Provides rapidly fast heal and overshield charge.
- Provides damage buff
- Can reload weapons due exotics
Cons:
- No burst damage protection ( A rocket in pvp will probably kill you or destroy the sword in the ground)
- No damage block
- Lower duration than bubble
- No possibility to grant overshields on range due exotics
- No possibility to blind enemies in it due exotics
- The sword is destroyable and has only crit hitboxes

I don’t think the bubble should be poppable though

Well of Radiance is 100x more useful than ward of doodoo
-
Not in pvp lmao
-
Will well of radiance let you grab a controll point while an arcstrider is running at you? Will well of radiance let you grab power ammo uninterupted? Will well of radiance make arcstrider or sunbreaker do more damage?

Edited by Unicorn: 11/24/2018 1:09:19 PMWhen has its defensive abilities been useful? 99.9% of the time it's just as effective or moreso to just hide behind a wall. I'm fine with Well getting a buff to go along side or you can make bubble only reduce incoming damage instead of blocking it entirely. Regardless of what you say about it Ward of Dawn is rarely RARELY ever used. You can say it has it pros, but if they aren't great one I'd choose Well one hundred percent of the time Also Defender has some buffs for the party leaving it in a supportive role. Every class has one Titan no longer has a strong PvE pick.
I don't care about its usefulness in PvP I'd be fine if stayed useless.
You comparing choosing a warlock super over a titan super. That's like saying you prefeer a cucumber over an apple. We talk here about different classes. Titans aren't meant to heal allies directly. We are a strategic defense/offense class. Not a healer. -
I'm not saying it has to heal (the melee ability already does that) the super should give an overshield and a damage buff. Also different classes have strong PvE options Hunters have tether and Warlocks have Well. Hunters complained about not having one in D1, and Titan's currently have no strong pick like that so I want one like Bubble was in D1.

Use helmet of the 14th saint. Grants armor of light inside and blessing outside of the bubble. -
It needs a damage buff. The over shield is nice, but it isn't going to make a massive impact like Well or Tether.

You did a good explanation
